முதல்வர் விஜய் தலைமையிலான அரசு பொறுப்பேற்ற பின்னர், தொழில் துறையில் மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் முதல் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் இது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி தலைமையிலான பொருளாதார விவகாரங்களுக்கான மத்திய அமைச்சரவைக் குழு, ஒடிசாவில் ராமேஷ்வரிலிருந்து பாரதீப் வரை புதிய கடலோர நெடுஞ்சாலை அமைப்பதற்கு இன்று ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது.
இது இரண்டு தொகுப்புகளின் கீழ், அரசு தனியார் கூட்டாண்மை மாதிரியில் அமைக்கப்படுகிறது. இதன் மொத்த நீளம் 160.18 கிலோ மீட்டர், இதற்கான மொத்த மூலதனச் செலவு ரூ.8300.79 கோடி ஆகும்.
ராமேஷ்வரிலிருந்து பாரதீப் வரையிலான புதிய கடலோர நெடுஞ்சாலையின் திட்டப் பகுதி, ஒடிசாவின் குர்தா, பூரி, கேந்திரபடா, ஜகத்சிங்பூர் மாவட்டங்கள் வழியாக அமைக்கப்படுகிறது.
தற்போதுள்ள தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலை-16 சாலை கட்டமைப்பு, தங்க நாற்கர சாலையின் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருப்பதுடன், ஏற்கனவே குர்தா, புவனேஸ்வர், கட்டாக் போன்ற முக்கிய நகரங்கள் வழியாகச் செல்லும் 6 வழிச் சாலையாகவும் உள்ளது. தற்போதுள்ள தேசிய நெடுஞ்காலை-316, புவனேஸ்வர்–பூரியை இணைத்து, மேலும் சதாபடா, கோனார்க் வரை நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
பூரி–சதாபடா, பூரி–கோனார்க் வழித்தடங்களில் தற்போதுள்ள சாலை பழுதடைந்துள்ளது. இந்த வழித்தடத்தில் சுமார் 40% பகுதி சாலை புனரமைப்பு மட்டுமே செய்யப்பட்டிருப்பதாலும், சாலையில் அதிக அளவில் உள்ளூர் பயணிகள் போக்குவரத்து இருப்பதாலும், இந்த வழித்தடம் சீரான நீண்ட தூர வாகனப் போக்குவரத்திற்குப் பொருத்தமற்றதாக உள்ளது.
இத்திட்டங்கள் முழுமையாக நிறைவடையும்போது, ராமேஷ்வர் மற்றும் பாரதீப் இடையிலான பயண நேரம் சுமார் 2 மணி நேரம் 30 நிமிடங்கள் குறையும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
மத்தியப் பிரதேசத்தில் 2-வழிச் சாலையை 4-வழிச் சாலையாக அகலப்படுத்துவதற்கும் மத்திய அமைச்சரவை ஒப்புதல்
மத்தியப் பிரதேச மாநிலத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள என்ஹெச்-347பி தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலையின் ஹிவார்கேடி -ரோஷ்னி-ஆஷாபூர்-ருதி பிரிவில் உள்ள இடைநிலைச் சாலையை இருவழிச் சாலையாகத் தரம் உயர்த்துவதற்கும் (125.01 கி.மீ), அதே நெடுஞ்சாலையின் தேஷ்கான் - ஜுல்வானியா பிரிவில் உள்ள இருவழிச் சாலையை 4-வழிச் சாலையாக அகலப்படுத்துவதற்கும் (108.643 கி.மீ) பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திரமோடி தலைமையில் இன்று நடைபெற்ற பொருளாதார விவகாரங்களுக்கான அமைச்சரவைக் குழுக் கூட்டத்தில் ஒப்புதல் அளிக்கப்பட்டது. இத்திட்டப் பணிகள் ரூ.4,415.60 கோடி மதிப்பீட்டில் செயல்படுத்தப்பட உள்ளன.
இந்தத் தரம் உயர்த்தும் பணிகள் மூலம், பெதுல், கந்த்வா, கர்கோன், பர்வானி ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களில் உள்ள குடியிருப்புப் பகுதிகளில் நிலவும் கடுமையான போக்குவரத்து நெரிசலுக்குத் தீர்வு காணப்படும்.
இத்திட்டத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக, கார்கோன் மாவட்டத்தில் 16.20 கி.மீ நீளமுள்ள ஒரு புதிய பசுமை வழி புறவழிச் சாலை அமைக்கப்பட உள்ளது.

தெலங்கானாவில், தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலை என்ஹெச்-63-ன் ஆர்மூர்-ஜக்டியால்-மஞ்சேரியல் பகுதியையும், தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலை என்ஹெச்-563-ன் ஜக்டியால்-கரீம்நகர் பகுதியையும் 4-வழிப்பாதை தரத்திற்கு விரிவுபடுத்துவதற்கு பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி தலைமையிலான பொருளாதார விவகாரங்களுக்கான மத்திய அமைச்சரவைக் குழு இன்று ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது. இத்திட்டத்தின் மொத்த நீளம் 190.76 கிலோ மீட்டராகும். இதற்கான செலவு ரூ.7597.16 கோடியாகும்.
ஆர்மூர்-ஜக்டியால்-மஞ்சேரியல் திட்டப் பகுதியானது தெலங்கானா மாநிலத்தின் நிஜாமாபாத், ஜக்டியால், மஞ்சேரியல் மாவட்டங்கள் வழியாக அமைகிறது. இச்சாலைப் பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள அன்க்சாபூர், கோருட்லா, ஜக்டியால், தர்மபுரி, லக்ஷெட்டிப்பேட்டை, மஞ்சேரியல் ஆகிய இடங்கள் குடியிருப்பு, வணிகப் பகுதிகள் காரணமாக, தற்போது கடும் போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல் ஏற்படுகிறது.
அதேபோல், ஜக்டியால்-கரீம்நகர் திட்டப் பகுதியானது ஜக்டியால், போத்தாரம், கங்காதரா கரீம்நகர் போன்ற கடும் போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல், அதிகப்படியான கட்டுமானங்கள் நிறைந்த பகுதிகள் வழியாகச் செல்கிறது.

பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி தலைமையிலான பொருளாதார விவகாரங்களுக்கான மத்திய அமைச்சரவைக் குழு, பீகாரில் உள்ள என்ஹெச்-31, என்ஹெச்-231-ன் ககாரியா-பூர்னியா பகுதியை (143.529 கிலோ மீட்டர்) ரூ.3936.05 கோடி செலவில் சுங்கக் கட்டண முறையில் 4-வழிச்சாலையாகத் தரம் உயர்த்த இன்று ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது.
இதன் மூலம் ககாரியா, பகல்பூர், கதிஹார், பூர்னியா மாவட்டங்களில் உள்ள குடியிருப்புப் பகுதிகளில் போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல் நீங்கும். இந்தத் திட்டத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக, பூர்னியா நகரின் 6.729 கி.மீ நீளமுள்ள விரிவாக்கப்பட்ட பசுமைவழி புறவழிச்சாலை உருவாக்கப்படும்.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, enabling L&T (Larsen & Toubro) to undertake three projects in Tamil Nadu involving an investment of ₹18,600 crore, with the assurance of providing employment opportunities to 8,200 individuals.
It is noteworthy that this marks the first Memorandum of Understanding signed in the industrial sector since the government led by Chief Minister Vijay assumed office.

Modi Sets Historic Record as India's Longest-Serving Elected Prime Minister

Modi, who first assumed office as Prime Minister on May 26, 2014, is set to complete 4,399 consecutive days in office on June 10. Successful Test of the Rudra M-2 Missile

The Rudra M-2 missile, capable of precisely striking and destroying ground-based targets from the air, possesses the ability to detect radio frequencies and radar signals from adversary nations at a range of up to 300 kilometers.
The Rudra M-2 missile has been developed entirely indigenously. This missile was successfully test-fired from the launch complex at Chandipur in the state of Odisha.
Reports indicate that, following the conclusion of this test which was conducted with the support of a Sukhoi fighter aircraft the Rudra M-2 missile successfully struck its designated target with precision.
It is capable of detecting and destroying enemy radars and communication infrastructure located on both land and sea surfaces from a long distance while operating from the air.

Union Cabinet Approves Price Stabilization Fund for Scheduled Indian Airlines to Facilitate Aviation Fuel Pricing

The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved the provision of a one-time financial support not exceeding ₹10,000 crore to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
This support is intended to assist OMCs in undertaking measures to stabilize aviation fuel prices for the domestic and international operations of scheduled Indian airlines.
This funding will be provided to the OMCs as an interest-free advance through the Demands for Grants of the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. This financial assistance is being extended to OMCs to facilitate stable aviation fuel pricing for airlines, thereby enabling them to cope with the fluctuations in fuel prices caused by the prevailing crisis in West Asia.

Funding for this project will be channeled through the National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB), which functions under the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Furthermore, the project will be implemented by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
The project will be executed in cooperation with the states and Union Territories of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. This scheme is being implemented with a total financial outlay of Rs. 9,585 crore, comprising a contribution of Rs. 5,041 crore from the Central Government and a contribution of Rs. 1,601 crore (including tax concessions) from the participating States and Union Territories.
The objective of this scheme is to incentivize owners of commercial vehicles and buses registered in Delhi and its surrounding regions and currently operating under BS-IV or earlier emission norms to transition to vehicles compliant with BS-VI or stricter emission standards, or to electric vehicles.
By accelerating the shift towards eco-friendly transportation technologies, this scheme is expected to significantly reduce vehicular emissions and play a pivotal role in improving air quality across Delhi and its surrounding areas.

Union Cabinet Approves Construction of New Coastal Highway from Rameshwar to Paradip in Odisha

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today approved the construction of a new coastal highway stretching from Rameshwar to Paradip in Odisha.
This project will be executed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, divided into two distinct packages. The total length of the highway is 160.18 kilometers, with a total capital outlay estimated at Rs. 8,300.79 crore.
The alignment of the new coastal highway from Rameshwar to Paradip traverses through the districts of Khordha, Puri, Kendrapara, and Jagatsinghpur in Odisha. The existing National Highway-16 which forms part of the 'Golden Quadrilateral' network already functions as a six-lane highway passing through major urban centers such as Khordha, Bhubaneswar, and Cuttack.
The existing National Highway-316 connects Bhubaneswar to Puri and has been further extended up to Satapada and Konark. The current road along the Puri–Satapada and Puri–Konark stretches is in a dilapidated condition.
Since only about 40% of this route has undergone road rehabilitation and given the heavy volume of local passenger traffic on the road, this corridor is unsuitable for smooth long-distance vehicular movement.
Upon the full completion of these projects, the travel time between Rameshwar and Paradip is expected to be reduced by approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Union Cabinet Approves Widening of 2-Lane Road to 4-Lane Road in Madhya Pradesh

Approval was granted today, during a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, for two projects located in the state of Madhya Pradesh: the upgradation of the intermediate lane section of National Highway (NH)-347B specifically the Hiwarkhedi–Roshni–Ashapur–Ruthi stretch to a 2-lane standard (covering 125.01 km), and the widening of the existing 2-lane road on the Deshgaon–Julwaniya section of the same highway to a 4-lane standard (covering 108.643 km). These project works are set to be implemented at an estimated cost of Rs 4,415.60 crore.
Through these upgradation works, the severe traffic congestion currently prevailing in the residential areas across the districts of Betul, Khandwa, Khargone, and Barwani will be resolved. As part of this project, a new 16.20 km-long greenfield bypass road is to be constructed in the Khargone district.
This initiative will lead to an increase in average travel speed and a reduction in travel time. Furthermore, road safety, fuel efficiency, and vehicle operating costs are expected to improve.
Consequently, both the transportation infrastructure and the socio-economic development of the region will be further enhanced. Union Cabinet Approves Expansion of Armoor-Jagtial-Mancherial and Jagtial-Karimnagar Sections in Telangana into Four-Lane Highways
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today approved the expansion of the Armoor-Jagtial-Mancherial section of National Highway (NH-63) and the Jagtial-Karimnagar section of National Highway (NH-563) in Telangana to four-lane highway standards. The total length of this project is 190.76 kilometers, and the estimated cost is ₹7,597.16 crore.
The Armoor-Jagtial-Mancherial project section traverses through the Nizamabad, Jagtial, and Mancherial districts of Telangana. Currently, this road stretch experiences severe traffic congestion in areas such as Ankshapur, Korutla, Jagtial, Dharmapuri, Luxettipet, and Mancherial, due to the presence of residential and commercial zones.
Similarly, the Jagtial-Karimnagar project section passes through areas characterized by heavy traffic congestion and extensive development, including Jagtial, Potharam, Gangadhara, and Karimnagar.
These projects are to be developed as four-lane highways. The plan includes the construction of bypass roads designed to circumvent residential and commercial areas. Furthermore, a toll plaza will also be established as part of this project.
Through this project, a road design capable of supporting travel speeds of 100 kilometers per hour will be ensured, while also enhancing travel efficiency across the Nizamabad, Jagtial, Mancherial, and Karimnagar districts of Telangana state.

Union Cabinet Approves Upgradation of Khagaria-Purnia Section (143.529 km) in Bihar to a 4-Lane Highway at a Cost of Rs 3,936.05 Crores

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today approved the upgradation of the Khagaria-Purnia section (143.529 km) of NH-31 and NH-231 in Bihar into a 4-lane highway on a toll basis, at an estimated cost of Rs 3,936.05 crore.
This initiative will alleviate traffic congestion in the residential areas located across the Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Katihar, and Purnia districts. As part of this project, an extended greenfield bypass spanning 6.729 km will be constructed for the city of Purnia.
This project is expected to increase average travel speeds, reduce travel time to approximately two hours, and improve overall road safety, fuel efficiency, and vehicle operating costs. Consequently, it will foster enhanced regional connectivity and socio-economic development.
Furthermore, this project provides seamless connectivity to key freight movement hubs located throughout the state of Bihar.
Furthermore, by connecting a textile cluster, two major food parks, two marine seafood parks, four key railway stations, an airport, four National Highways, and two subsidiary highways, this upgraded corridor will enhance multi-modal transport integration and facilitate the rapid movement of goods and passengers across the entire region.
