• 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான இலக்கிய மாமணி விருதுகள் / TAMILNADU ILAKKIYA MAAMANI AWARD 2025: 2025-ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான இலக்கிய மாமணி விருதுகள் தமிழக அரசால் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அதன்படி, மரபுத் தமிழ், ஆய்வுத் தமிழ் மற்றும் படைப்புத் தமிழ் ஆகிய வகைப்பாட்டில் மூன்று விருதுகள் அறிவித்து முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.
• பன்னூறு ஆண்டுகளாக வற்றாத படைப்புகளைக் கொண்டு சீரிளமையோடு இலங்கி வரும் தமிழுக்கும், தமிழ்மொழி வளர்ச்சிக்கும் தொண்டாற்றிடும் தமிழ்த்தாயின் அறிஞர் பெருமக்களுக்குத் தமிழ்நாடு அரசு தமிழ் வளர்ச்சித் துறையின் வாயிலாக பல்வேறு விருதுகளையும் சிறப்புகளையும் வழங்கி அவர்தம் புலமைக்கும் தொண்டுக்கும் பெருமை சேர்த்து வருகின்றது.
• அவ்வகையில் மரபுத்தமிழ், ஆய்வுத்தமிழ், படைப்புத் தமிழ் ஆகிய மூன்று வகைப்பாட்டில் அறிஞர்களுக்கு ஆண்டுதோறும் உயரிய விருதான இலக்கிய மாமணி விருது வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
• முத்தமிழறிஞர் கலைஞர் பிறந்தநாளையொட்டி 3.6.2021 அன்று தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர்மு.க. ஸ்டாலின், தமிழ் எழுத்தாளர்களை ஊக்குவித்து சிறப்பிக்கும் வகையில் இலக்கிய மாமணி என்ற விருது உருவாக்கப்பட்டு தமிழ் இலக்கியத்திற்கு வளம் சேர்க்கும் மூன்று அறிஞர்களுக்கு ஆண்டுதோறும் விருது வழங்கப்படும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு, மரபுத்தமிழ், ஆய்வுத் தமிழ், படைப்புத்தமிழ் ஆகிய வகைப்பாட்டில் 2021-ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் ஆண்டுதோறும் விருதுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
• அவ்வரிசையில், 2025-ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான இலக்கிய மாமணி விருதுகளில் மரபுத் தமிழ் வகைப்பாட்டில் "உலகின் பல்வேறு நாடுகளில் செம்மாந்த இலக்கிய உரைகளை நிகழ்த்தி வருபவரும் தினமணி நாளிதழில் ஞாயிறு தோறும் கம்பன் தமிழமுதம் என்னும் தலைப்பில் ஆழ்ந்த கட்டுரைகள் எழுதியதோடு தொடர்ந்து பல்வேறு இதழ்களில் எழுதி வருபவரும் தமிழ்நாட்டில் பல இளைஞர்களுக்கு மேடைப் பேச்சாற்றலுக்கான நல்வழிகாட்டியாகவும் உந்து சக்தியாகவும் திகழ்ந்து வருபவரும் சென்னை, கம்பன் கழகத்தில் செயற்குழு உறுப்பினராகப் பணியாற்றியவரும் மாபெரும் தமிழறிஞர்களின் வழிகாட்டுதல்களோடு இலக்கியப் பணியாற்றி வரும் இலக்கியச் சுடர் த. இராமலிங்கம் (வயது 68) 
• ஆய்வுத் தமிழ் வகைப்பாட்டில் இலக்கியப் பேராசான் ஜீவானந்தம், 1959-இல் தொடங்கப்பட்ட தாமரை இலக்கிய இதழின் ஆசிரியராக கடந்த இருபது ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேல் பணியாற்றியவரும், இந்திய கம்யூனிஸ்ட் தலைவர்களில் ஒருவரும், சமூக விழிப்பு கொண்ட எழுத்துப் பணிகளை மேற்கொண்டு வருபவரும், சீர்திருத்த மேடைப் பேச்சாளராக அணி செய்பவரும், "வீழ்வேன் என்று நினைத்தாயோ?, "தீக்குள் விரலை வைத்தேன்", தமிழ்நாடு பிறந்தது (தொகுப்பு)" உள்ளிட்ட 15க்கும் மேற்பட்ட நூல்களை எழுதியவருமான எழுத்தாளர் சி. மகேந்திரன் (வயது 73); 
• படைப்புத்தமிழ் வகைப்பாட்டில் முத்தமிழறிஞர் கலைஞர் ஆசிரியராக இருந்த 'நம்நாடு' வார ஏட்டில் தொடர்ந்து கட்டுரைகளை எழுதியதோடு, வைகறை முரசு இதழில் தொடர்ந்து எழுதியவரும் தென்காசி திருவள்ளுவர் கழகத்தில் வள்ளுவம் தொடர்பான தொடர் சொற்பொழிவுகளை ஆற்றி வருபவரும், திராவிடச் சிந்தனையில் ஆழ்ந்து பல படைப்பு நூல்களை வெளியிட்டதோடு, தமிழ்நாட்டில் இருந்து பல்வேறு அறிஞர்களை அழைத்து இராசபாளையத்தில் அருமையான இலக்கிய நிகழ்ச்சிகளை நடத்துவதை தொடர் பணியாக செய்யும் அறிவுத்திலகமான விருதுநகர் மாவட்டத்தைச் சேர்ந்த இரா. நரேந்திரகுமார் (வயது 74) தெரிவு செய்யப்பெற்றுள்ளனர்.
• இலக்கிய மாமணி விருது பெறும் விருதாளர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் விருதுத் தொகையாக ரூபாய் ஐந்து இலட்சம், ஒரு சவரன் தங்கப்பதக்கம், தகுதியுரை ஆகியவை வழங்கப் பெற்று, பொன்னாடை அணிவித்து சிறப்பிக்கப் பெறுவார்கள். இவ்விருதுகள் தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் மு.க. ஸ்டாலின் திருவள்ளுவர் திருநாளான 16.01.2026 அன்று வழங்கப்படவுள்ளார்.

• TAMILNADU ILAKKIYA MAAMANI AWARD 2025: The Ilakkiya Mamani Awards for the year 2025 have been announced by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
• Accordingly, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has issued orders announcing three awards in the categories of Classical Tamil, Research Tamil, and Creative Tamil.
• The Government of Tamil Nadu, through its Department of Tamil Development, has been honoring the scholars who have served Tamil, a language that has flourished with timeless literary works for centuries, and contributed to its development, by bestowing various awards and accolades, thereby celebrating their scholarship and service.
• In this manner, the prestigious Ilakkiya Mamani Award is presented annually to scholars in three categories: Classical Tamil, Research Tamil, and Creative Tamil.
• On June 3, 2021, coinciding with the birthday of the eminent Tamil scholar Kalaignar, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin, announced the creation of the Ilakkiya Mamani Award to encourage and honor Tamil writers.  He declared that this award would be presented annually to three scholars who enrich Tamil literature, and accordingly, these awards have been presented annually since 2021 in the categories of Classical Tamil, Research Tamil, and Creative Tamil. In that series, for the 2025 Ilakkiya Mamani Awards, the following individuals have been selected:
• In the Traditional Tamil category: Thiru. T. Ramalingam (age 68), a literary luminary who has delivered profound literary discourses in various countries around the world, has written insightful articles every Sunday under the title "Kamban Thamizhamudham" in the Dinamani newspaper, and continues to write in various magazines, serving as a guide and inspiration for many young people in Tamil Nadu in the art of public speaking, and who has also served as an executive committee member of the Kamban Kazhagam in Chennai, and continues his literary work under the guidance of great Tamil scholars;
• In the Research Tamil category: Literary maestro Jeevanandam, who served as the editor of the Thamizhi literary magazine, which was started in 1959, for over twenty years, and is one of the Indian Communist leaders, undertaking socially conscious writing, and a reformist public speaker, and the author of more than 15 books including "Did you think I would fall?", "I put my finger in the fire", and "Tamil Nadu was born (collection)", writer C. Mahendran (age 73);
• In the Creative Tamil category: R. Narendrakumar (age 74) from Virudhunagar district, an intellectual luminary who continuously wrote articles in the 'Nam Nadu' weekly magazine where Muthamizh Arignar Kalaignar was the editor, and also continuously wrote in the Vaikarai Murasu magazine, delivers continuous lectures on Valluvam at the Tenkasi Thiruvalluvar Kazhagam, has published several creative works deeply rooted in Dravidian thought, and makes it his continuous mission to organize excellent literary events in Rajapalayam by inviting various scholars from Tamil Nadu.
• Each recipient of the Ilakkiya Mamani Award will be presented with a cash prize of five lakh rupees, a one-sovereign gold medal, and a citation. They will receive the awards and be honored with a golden shawl.
