• "நம்ம அரசு" வாட்ஸ் அப் சாட்பாட் சேவையின் மூலம், பொதுமக்கள் அரசு சேவைகளை தங்களது மொபைல் போன் வழியாகவே எளிதாகப் பெற முடியும். 
• இதன்மூலம் இணையதள வழிமுறைகள் மூலம் ஏற்படும் சிரமங்களோ அல்லது அரசு அலுவலகங்களுக்கு நேரடியாகச் செல்ல வேண்டிய அவசியமோ இனி இருக்காது. பொதுமக்கள் +91 78452 52525 என்ற வாட்ஸ் அப் எண்ணின் மூலம் இந்த சேவையைப் பயன்படுத்தலாம்.
• தமிழ்நாடு தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் டிஜிட்டல் சேவைகள் துறை அமைச்சர் பழனிவேல் தியாகராஜன் நேற்று முன்தினம் "நம்ம அரசு" திட்டத்தை அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக தொடங்கி வைத்தார். நிகழ்வில் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் டிஜிட்டல் சேவைகள் துறை செயலாளர், தமிழ்நாடு மின்னாளுமை முகமை அதிகாரிகள், அருண் ஸ்ரீநிவாஸ், மெட்டா இந்தியா நிறுவனத்தின் தலைவர் மற்றும் மேலாண்மை இயக்குநர் மற்றும் காரிக்ஸ் மொபைல்ஸ் பிரைவேட் லிமிடெட் நிறுவனத்தின் தலைவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
• இத்திட்டத்தின் முதற்கட்டமாக உள்ளாட்சித் துறை சேவைகள், இந்து சமய அறநிலையத் துறை சார்ந்த பக்தர்களுக்கான சேவைகள், மின்சார வாரிய கட்டணம் செலுத்துதல் உள்ளிட்ட 16 துறைகளைச் சேர்ந்த 51 சேவைகள் தற்போது வாட்ஸ் அப் மூலம் நேரலையில் வழங்கப்படுகின்றன. 
• இத்தளம் அதிநவீன தொழில்நுட்பத்துடன் தடையற்ற, பாதுகாப்பான மற்றும் விரிவான சேவை வழங்கலை உறுதி செய்யும் வண்ணம் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• இயல்பான உரையாடலை சாத்தியமாக்கும் கிமி தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்பட்ட கட்டணம் செலுத்தும் முறை ஆகியவை இதில் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. 
• அரசு சேவைகளை எளிமையாகவும், வெளிப்படையாகவும் வழங்குவதற்காக தமிழக அரசு மேற்கொண்டு வரும் விரிவான டிஜிட்டல் மாற்றத் திட்டத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக இந்த "நம்ம அரசு" முன்னெடுப்பு அமைந்துள்ளது.

• NAMMA ARASU WHATSAPP CHATBOT SERVICE: In a revolutionary milestone in the digitalization of citizen services, the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency has launched the 'Namma Arasu' WhatsApp chatbot service at the state's premier IT conference, Umagine 2026.
• Through the "Namma Arasu" WhatsApp chatbot service, citizens can easily access government services via their mobile phones. This eliminates the difficulties associated with website-based procedures or the need to visit government offices in person. Citizens can use this service by contacting the WhatsApp number +91 78452 52525.
• Tamil Nadu Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services, Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, officially launched the "Namma Arasu" project the day before yesterday. 
• The event was attended by the Secretary of the Department of Information Technology and Digital Services, officials from the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency, Arun Srinivas, Head and Managing Director of Meta India, and the heads of Karrix Mobiles Private Limited.
• In the first phase of this project, 51 services from 16 departments, including local government services, services for devotees under the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, and electricity bill payments, are currently available live via WhatsApp. The platform is designed with state-of-the-art technology to ensure seamless, secure, and comprehensive service delivery.
• It utilizes AI technology to enable natural conversation and an integrated payment system. This "Namma Arasu" initiative is part of the Tamil Nadu government's comprehensive digital transformation plan to provide government services easily and transparently. 
• To further enhance citizen convenience, the Tamil Nadu government plans to gradually integrate more departmental services into the "Namma Arasu" platform.
