• டீப் டெக் ஸ்டார்ட்அப் கொள்கை 2026 / DEEP TECH STARTUP POLICY 2026: அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பம் சார்ந்த புத்தொழில் நிறுவனங்களை (Startups) ஊக்குவிக்கும் வகையில், ரூ.100 கோடி நிதி ஒதுக்கீட்டுடன் இந்தியாவின் முதல் பிரத்யேக 'டீப் டெக் ஸ்டார்ட்அப் கொள்கையை' (Deep Tech Startup Policy 2025-26) தமிழ்நாடு அரசு வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
• மேம்பட்ட அறிவியல் ஆராய்ச்சி அல்லது பொறியியல் கண்டுபிடிப்புகளை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு, சுகாதாரம், எரிசக்தி மற்றும் உற்பத்தித் துறைகளில் புரட்சிகரமான மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்தும் தொழில்நுட்பங்களே 'டீப் டெக்' என அழைக்கப்படுகின்றன. 
• இத்தகைய உயர் தொழில்நுட்பங்களை ஆய்வகங்களிலிருந்து சந்தைக்குக் கொண்டு வரும்போது ஏற்படும் சவால்களைக் களைவதே இந்தக் கொள்கையின் முக்கிய நோக்கமாகும்.
• மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் இளம் தொழில்நுட்பவாதிகளுக்கு வாய்ப்பு, ஒரே மேடையில் அரசுடன் தொழில்துறை மற்றும் ஸ்டார்ட்அப் இணைப்புடன் முதலீடு (Investment), கூட்டாண்மை (Partnership) வாய்ப்புகள், Venture Capitalists உடன் நேரடி சந்திப்பு, புதிய யோசனைகளுக்கு ஆதரவு, தமிழ்நாட்டில் முதலீடு செய்ய விரும்பும் உலக நிறுவனங்களுக்கு சிறப்பு அமர்வுகள் மூலம் முதலீட்டு ஈர்ப்பு (Investment Promotion), எதிர்கால தொழில்நுட்பம் மீதான விவாதங்கள், என தமிழ்நாட்டை South Asia Tech Gateway ஆக மாற்றும் முயற்சியாக இந்த மாநாட்டில் பல முக்கிய சிறப்பம்சங்கள் உள்ளது.
• இந்தத் திட்டம் பின்வரும் ஐந்து நிலைகளில் செயல்படும்
• ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாடு (R&D)
• நிதி உதவி (Financial Support)
• உள்கட்டமைப்பு மேம்பாடு (Infrastructure)
• திறன் மேம்பாடு (Skill Development)
• சந்தை விரிவாக்கம் (Market Expansion)
• இந்தக் கொள்கையின் நோக்கமாக ஆய்வகங்களில் உருவாக்கப்படும் உயர் தொழில்நுட்பங்களை சந்தைக்குக் கொண்டு வருவதில் உள்ள சிக்கல்களுக்கு தீர்வுகளை கண்டுபிடிப்பது எனப்படுகிறது. 
• முக்கியமாக அடுத்த 5 ஆண்டுகளில் 100 டீப் டெக் ஸ்டார்ட்அப் நிறுவனங்களை ஆதரிக்கவும், பொது மற்றும் தனியார் முதலீடுகள் மூலம் ரூ.100 கோடியைத் திரட்டவும் இலக்கு நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக கூறப்படுகிறது.
• மேலும் டீப் டெக் நிறுவனங்களின் வருடாந்திர காப்புரிமை (Patent) பதிவை 25% அதிகரிப்பது மற்றும் 10,000க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் தொழில் வல்லுநர்களுக்கு டீப் டெக் திறன்களில் பயிற்சி அளிப்பது இதன் முக்கிய குறிக்கோள்களாகும்.தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறை மற்றும் iTNT Hub (தமிழ்நாடு தொழில்நுட்ப மையம்) ஆகியவை இணைந்து இந்தக் கொள்கையைச் செயல்படுத்தும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• அரசின் பல சலுகைகளுடன் செயல்படும் இதன் மூலம் முதலீட்டு ஈர்ப்புகள் மேலும் பெருகி, பல தொழில்துறைகள் சிறந்து இளம் தொழில் முனைவோர் மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் பயன் பெறுவார்கள் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

• DEEP TECH STARTUP POLICY 2026: The Tamil Nadu government has launched India's first dedicated 'Deep Tech Startup Policy' (2025-26) with a fund allocation of ₹100 crore to encourage science and technology-based startups.
• Deep Tech refers to technologies based on advanced scientific research or engineering innovations that can bring about revolutionary changes in sectors such as healthcare, energy, and manufacturing. 
• The main objective of this policy is to overcome the challenges faced in bringing such advanced technologies from laboratories to the market.
• This policy includes several key features aimed at transforming Tamil Nadu into a South Asia Tech Gateway, such as providing opportunities for students and young technologists, facilitating investment and partnership opportunities through industry and startup connections with the government on a single platform, direct meetings with Venture Capitalists, support for new ideas, investment promotion through special sessions for global companies wishing to invest in Tamil Nadu, and discussions on future technologies.
• This program will operate in the following five phases:
• Research and Development (R&D)
• Financial Support
• Infrastructure Development
• Skill Development
• Market Expansion
• The policy aims to find solutions to the challenges involved in bringing advanced technologies developed in laboratories to the market. Specifically, the goal is to support 100 Deep Tech startups over the next 5 years and raise ₹100 crore through public and private investments. 
• Furthermore, its main objectives include increasing the annual patent registration of deep tech companies by 25% and providing training in deep tech skills to more than 10,000 students and professionals. 
• It has been announced that the Information Technology Department and the iTNT Hub (Tamil Nadu Technology Centre) will jointly implement this policy.
• It is expected that this initiative, operating with various government incentives, will further increase investment opportunities, benefit many industries, and empower young entrepreneurs and researchers.
