கார்கில் விஜய் திவாஸ் 2023 / KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS 2023: 1999 இல் லடாக்கின் வடக்கு கார்கில் மாவட்டத்தில் இந்தியாவிற்கும் பாகிஸ்தானுக்கும் இடையே நடந்த போரில் இருந்து கார்கில் போர் அதன் பெயரைப் பெற்றது.
கார்கில் போரில் பாகிஸ்தானை இந்தியா வென்றதை நினைவுகூரும் வகையில் ஆண்டுதோறும் ஜூலை 26 ஆம் தேதி கார்கில் விஜய் திவாஸ் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
வடக்கு கார்கில் மாவட்ட மலைச் சிகரங்களின் ஒரு பகுதியை பாகிஸ்தான் படைகள் ஆக்கிரமித்திருந்தன, இந்திய இராணுவம் அவற்றை இந்த நிலையில் இருந்து வெற்றிகரமாக அகற்றியது.
பாகிஸ்தான் துருப்புக்கள் இந்திய எல்லைக்குள் ஊடுருவி, ஜம்மு & காஷ்மீரின் கார்கில் மாவட்டத்தில் முக்கிய இடங்களை ஆக்கிரமித்ததன் மூலம் போரைத் தூண்டியது, இது மோதலின் போது அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு மூலோபாய நன்மையை அளித்தது.

மே 27-28: இந்திய விமானப்படை 3 விமானங்களையும் நான்கு பணியாளர்களையும் இழந்தது. ஒரு விமானி போர்க் கைதியாக (போர் கைதி) எடுக்கப்பட்டு பின்னர் விடுவிக்கப்படுகிறார்.
ஜூன் 1: தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலை 1 மீது பாகிஸ்தான் ராணுவம் ஷெல் தாக்குதல் நடத்தியது
ஜூன் 9: படாலிக் செக்டரில் இரண்டு முக்கிய இடங்களை இந்தியப் படைகள் மீண்டும் கைப்பற்றின.
ஜூன் 15: அமெரிக்க ஜனாதிபதி பில் கிளிண்டன் தலையீடு. கார்கிலில் இருந்து பாகிஸ்தான் படைகளை திரும்பப் பெறுமாறு பாகிஸ்தான் பிரதமர் நவாஸ் ஷெரீப்பை அவர் கேட்டுக் கொண்டார்.
ஜூன் 29: மத்திய அரசின் அழுத்தம் காரணமாக பாகிஸ்தான் படைகளை திரும்பப் பெற்றது. இந்திய ராணுவம் டைகர் ஹில்லுக்கு செல்கிறது.
ஜூலை 4: பாகிஸ்தான் ராணுவத்தின் வடக்கு லைட் காலாட்படை படைப்பிரிவுடன் 12 மணி நேரப் போருக்குப் பிறகு இந்தியப் படைப்பிரிவுகள் டைகர் ஹில்ஸை மீண்டும் கைப்பற்றியது.
ஜூலை 7: படாலிக் பிராந்தியத்தில் உள்ள ஜுபார் ஹைட்ஸ் இந்திய துருப்புக்களால் மீண்டும் கைப்பற்றப்பட்டது

ஜூலை 14: ஆபரேஷன் விஜய் வெற்றியடைந்ததாக பிரதமர் அடல் பிஹாரி வாஜ்பாய் அறிவித்தார். பாகிஸ்தானுடன் இந்திய அரசு பேச்சு வார்த்தை நடத்துகிறது.
ஜூலை 26: கார்கில் போர் முடிந்தது. ஆபரேஷன் சஃபேட் நகர் என்பது பாகிஸ்தான் படைகளை அகற்றுவதற்கான ஒரு சொல்.

கார்கில் விஜய் திவாஸ் 2023 / KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS 2023: 1971 இல் நடந்த இந்திய-பாகிஸ்தான் போரைத் தொடர்ந்து, போரை நிறுத்தவும், ஆயுத மோதல்களைக் குறைக்கவும் பாகிஸ்தானும் இந்தியாவும் ஒப்புக்கொண்டன.

KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS 2023: The Kargil War derives its name from the war fought between India and Pakistan in the Northern Kargil District of Ladakh in 1999. Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on 26th July yearly to commemorate India's victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War.
Pakistani Forces had occupied part of the Northern Kargil District mountain peaks, and the Indian Army successfully removed them from this position.
Pakistani troops triggered the war by infiltrating Indian territory and occupying key locations in the Kargil District of Jammu & Kashmir, which gave them a strategic advantage during the conflict. The Indian Army captured all the Indian posts, and this victory is celebrated as Kargil Vijay Diwas. The Indian Army termed its offensive 'Operation Vijay.'

KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS 2023: The Kargil War occurred between May and July 1999. Here is the sequence of events that took place during this period:
May 3: Local shepherds report intrusion by Pakistani troops in the Kargil District
May 5: The Indian Army sends its troops. Five soldiers are captured and killed.
May 9: Infiltrations across multiple areas across the LOC. These include Kaksar, Dras, and Mushkoh.
May 26: Airstrikes against infiltrators are started by the Indian Airforce
May 27-28: Indian Airforce loses 3 aircraft and four crew members. One pilot is taken as a POW (Prisoner of War) and later released.
June 1: National Highway 1 is shelled by the Pakistani Army
June 9: Two key positions are recaptured by the Indian troops in the Batalik Sector
June 15: Intervention by US President Bill Clinton. He asks Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, to withdraw Pakistani troops from Kargil.
June 29: Pakistan withdraws troops because of Federal Government pressure. Indian Army proceeds to Tiger Hill.
July 4: The Indian regiments recapture Tiger Hills after a 12-hour battle with the Northern Light Infantry Regiment of the Pakistani Army
July 7: Jubar Heights in the Batalik Region is recaptured by Indian Troops
July 11: Complete withdrawal of Pakistani forces from the region
July 14: Operation Vijay is declared a success by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Indian Government initiates talks with Pakistan.
July 26: Kargil War is over. Operation Safed Nagar was a term given to the removal of Pakistani troops.
Legend of Kargil Vijay Diwas
KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS 2023: Pakistan and India agreed to stop fighting and minimize armed conflicts following the Indo-Pak war in 1971. However, the situation worsened when another fight arose for Siachen glaciers and raised militant activities in Kashmir.
Both the countries signed Lahore Declaration in 1999 to settle the dispute peacefully.
India and Pakistan successfully operated nuclear tests causing both nations to send their troops to break the link between Ladakh and Kashmir.
The Army of Pakistan finally captured about 120-200 km of locations.
The Indian Government established "Operation Vijay" to beat the Pakistani military and send them back.
The Indian Army accomplished its target, but more than 500 soldiers lost their lives in the war, considered the real legends of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
Celebrating Kargil Vijay Diwas
KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS 2023: The Kargil War got triggered due to Pakistani troops infiltrating the LOC in the guise of Kashmiri militants. Pakistan was in denial initially, but evidence from the casualties and statements made by the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief of Army Staff proved their involvement.
The Kargil War Heroes are honored every year on July 26. Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated all over India through functions to acknowledge the contribution of the armed forces.
