• உலகம் உங்கள் கையில் திட்டம் / ULAGAM UNGAL KAIYIL THITTAM: தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் கல்விக்கு முன்னுரிமை அளித்து தமிழ்நாட்டில் உயர்கல்வியை மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கில், அதிக எண்ணிக்கையிலான உயர்கல்வி நிறுவனங்களை தொடங்குதல், அதன் வாயிலாக ஆராய்ச்சி, புதுமைப் படைப்புகள், தொழில்நுட்ப வளர்ச்சி ஆகியவற்றில் மாணவர்களின் திறன்களை வளர்த்து, வேலைவாய்ப்பினை உறுதி செய்தல், "நான் முதல்வன்" திட்டத்தின் மூலம் தகுதி வாய்ந்த திறன்மிகு இளைஞர்களை உருவாக்குதல், அரசு பள்ளிகளில் ஆறாம் வகுப்பு முதல் பன்னிரெண்டாம் வகுப்பு வரை படித்த மாணவிகள் உயர்கல்வி பயிலப் "புதுமைப்பெண்" திட்டம் மற்றும் மாணவர்கள் உயர்கல்வி பயிலத் "தமிழ்ப் புதல்வன்" ஆகிய திட்டங்களின் கீழ் மாதம் ரூபாய் 1000/- உதவித்தொகை வழங்குதல், முதல் தலைமுறைப் பட்டதாரிகளுக்குச் சலுகைகள், கல்லூரிகள் மற்றும் பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் உட்கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகளை மேம்படுத்தல் போன்ற பல்வேறு திட்டங்களை சிறப்பாக செயல்படுத்தி வருகிறார்கள். 
• இதன் அடிப்படையில் அகில இந்திய அளவில் உயர்கல்வி சேர்க்கையில் தமிழ்நாடு முதலிடம் வகித்து வருகிறது.
• முதலமைச்சரால் கடந்த 05.01.2026 அன்று சென்னை, நந்தம்பாக்கம் வர்த்தக மைய வளாகத்தில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில் "உலகம் உங்கள் கையில்" எனும் மாபெரும் திட்டத்தின் மூலம், தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு துறையில் உள்ள வாய்ப்புகளை பயன்படுத்தும் வகையில் கலை, அறிவியல், பொறியியல், வேளாண்மை மற்றும் மருத்துவம் உட்பட பல்வேறு கல்லூரிகளில் பயின்று வரும் மாணவர்களுக்கு 10 இலட்சம் மடிக்கணினிகளை வழங்கும் திட்டத்தினை தொடங்கி வைத்தார்கள். 
• இதன் தொடர்ச்சியாக தமிழகம் முழுவதும் மாணவர்களுக்கு மடிக்கணினி வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. அதன்படி குருநானக் கல்லூரியில் மாணவர்களுக்கு மடிக்கணினி இன்று வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
• இந்த கல்லூரியானது மாணவர்களுக்கு கல்விச் சேவை அளிப்பதோடு, பொதுமக்களுக்குக்கான சேவைகளும் செய்து வருகிறது. இக்கல்லூரியில் “உலகம் உங்கள் கையில்” எனும் மாபெரும் திட்டத்தின் கீழ், 2,040 கல்லூரி மாணவர்களுக்கு மடிக்கணினிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டது. 
• மாணவர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் இந்த மடிக்கணினிகளில் Intel i3 / AMD Ryzen 3 Processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD நினைவகம், Windows 11 Home Strategic மற்றும் BOSS Linux OS ஆகிய மென்பொருள்கள் முன்னதாக நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ள நிலையில், நடைமுறையில் உள்ள கல்வி மற்றும் திட்டப் பணிகளுக்காக MS Office 365, மேலும் "அறிவைத் தேடும் இளைய தலைமுறைக்குப் புதிய சாளரம்" என அமையும் செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு மென்பொருளான Perplexity Pro-வின் ஆறு மாத சந்தாவும் கட்டணமில்லாமல் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

• ULAGAM UNGAL KAIYIL THITTAM: The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has prioritized education and is implementing various schemes such as opening a large number of higher education institutions, developing the skills of students in research, innovation and technological development and ensuring employment opportunities, creating qualified and talented youth through the "Naan Mudhalvan" scheme, providing scholarships of Rs. 1000/- per month to girls who have studied in government schools from class VI to XII for higher education, and providing scholarships to students for higher education under the "Pudumaipben" scheme, concessions to first-generation graduates, and improving infrastructure facilities in colleges and universities. Based on this, Tamil Nadu is ranked first in higher education admissions at the all-India level.
• The Chief Minister launched a scheme to provide 10 lakh laptops to students studying in various colleges including Arts, Science, Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine, in a program held at the Nandambakkam Business Center Complex, Chennai on 05.01.2026, under the grand scheme "The World is in Your Hands", to utilize the opportunities in the field of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence. 
• Following this, laptops are being provided to students across Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, laptops are being provided to students at Guru Nanak College today.
• This college provides educational services to students and also provides services to the public. 
• Under the grand scheme "The World is in Your Hands", 2,040 college students were provided laptops in this college. These laptops provided to students come with Intel i3 / AMD Ryzen 3 Processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD storage, Windows 11 Home Strategic and BOSS Linux OS pre-installed, MS Office 365 for ongoing academic and project work, and a six-month subscription to Perplexity Pro, an artificial intelligence software that serves as a "new window for the younger generation seeking knowledge."
