• ஆயுதத் தொழிற்சாலைகள் தினம் 2024 / ORDNANCE FACTORIES DAY 2024: ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் மார்ச் 18 ஆம் தேதி ஆயுதத் தொழிற்சாலைகள் தினம் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. 
• கொல்கத்தாவின் காசிபூரில் உள்ள இந்தியாவின் மிகப் பழமையான ஆயுதத் தொழிற்சாலையின் உற்பத்தி மார்ச் 18, 1802 அன்று தொடங்கப்பட்டது. 
• OFB என்பது உலகின் 37வது பெரிய பாதுகாப்பு உபகரண உற்பத்தியாளர், ஆசியாவில் 2வது பெரியது மற்றும் இந்தியாவில் மிகப்பெரியது.

• ORDNANCE FACTORIES DAY 2024: The Ordnance Factories Day is observed on the 18th of March every year. The production of India’s oldest Ordnance Factory, which is at Cossipore of Kolkata, was started on the 18th of March, 1802. OFB is the 37th largest defence equipment manufacturer in the world, 2nd largest in Asia, and the largest in India.
• The day is celebrated by displaying the rifles, guns, artillery, ammunition etc in exhibitions all over India. The celebrations start with a parade and the exhibition will also display the photographs of various mountaineering expeditions.
