Chief Minister Stalin inaugurated the Government Medical College Hospital in Ooty
- Chief Minister Stalin inaugurated the Government Medical College Hospital in Ooty, built at an estimated cost of Rs. 143.69 crore. Following this, he laid the foundation stone for new works at a cost of Rs. 727 crore and inaugurated completed projects. Later, he provided welfare assistance to the public.
- A new railway bridge has been built in the middle of the sea at Rameswaram and Pamban in Ramanathapuram district at a cost of Rs. 550 crore. A new bridge has been built between Rameswaram and Pamban due to frequent malfunctions in the old Pamban railway bridge. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated this new Pamban bridge today.
- Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone for a new 4-lane highway project in the Walajapet-Ranipet section. Prime Minister Modi also dedicated to the nation the 4-lane highway built between Villupuram and Puducherry. The Prime Minister also inaugurated the Cholapuram-Thanjore 4-lane highway project.
