Central Government Resolution on Caste Wise Census in Tamil Nadu Assembly
- Chief Minister Stalin brought a separate resolution demanding that the central government conduct a caste-wise census along with the population census in the Legislative Assembly. A debate will be held on the resolution brought by the Chief Minister and it will be passed by voice vote.
- The 10th phase of excavation work has started on the 18th at Geezadi near Tiruppuvanam in Sivagangai district. It was announced that 12 pits would be dug in one and a half acres of land and the tenth phase of excavation would take place. At present only two pits have been dug and work is in progress.
