Japan to provide 232.209 billion Japanese Yen as Official Development Assistance Loan for nine projects in various sectors in India
- The Government of Japan has committed 232.209 billion yen in official development assistance loans to nine projects in various sectors. - A project to improve urban water supply system in Uttarakhand (16.21 billion Japanese yen); and Dedicated Freight Rail Project (Phase 1) (40 billion Japanese Yen)
- The road infrastructure connectivity projects aim to promote infrastructure development in the north-eastern region of India, while the Chennai Peripheral Ring Road project aims to ease traffic congestion and strengthen connectivity to the southern part of the state.
- The project implemented in Nagaland will improve medical college hospital, improve tertiary care delivery and provide healthcare to all. A unique project in Telangana will focus on women and rural people to help discover entrepreneurial skills and support business expansion of MSMEs.
- In Haryana, the project will promote sustainable horticulture and increase farmers' income by encouraging crop diversification and infrastructure development. The Forestry Project in Rajasthan will improve ecosystem services through afforestation, forest and biodiversity conservation.
- The project aims to provide sustainable water supply to urban towns in the hilly state of Uttarakhand. The fifth tranche of the Dedicated Freight Corridor Project will enable the construction of a new dedicated freight rail system and modernize the intermodal freight transport system to help handle increasing freight traffic.
- India and Japan have a long and fruitful history of bilateral development cooperation since 1958. Economic partnership, a key pillar of India-Japan relations, has been progressing steadily over the past few years. The exchange of inputs for these key projects will further strengthen the strategic and global partnership between India and Japan.
- After the success of Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya L-1, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is focusing on the Kaganyan project next. The Gaganyaan project to send humans into space is being prepared. ISRO has chosen LVM-3 rocket for this purpose.
- This rocket is capable of carrying goods weighing about 8 tons. This rocket was also used in the Chandrayaan-3 project. ISRO has made some changes in this rocket for the Gaganyaan project.

In this regard, the published report says: CE20 cryogenic engine test was conducted on the 13th at the test center at ISRO Propulsion Complex in Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu.
