Prime Minister appealed to the people to change the visual image of social media with the feeling of 'tricolor flag at home'
- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has changed his social media accounts display images to tricolor flag. He requested everyone to do the same in the spirit of 'Tricolor flag at every home' #HarGharTiranga.
- The Tricolor Movement is being celebrated from 13th to 15th August in every household across the country.
- Rann of Kutch is a part of Kutch region of Gujarat. A swampy area that stretches for hundreds of kilometers. One end of it is divided into India and Pakistan borders. It is here that the most important border issue with Pakistan is Sir Creak.
- Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a special visit to this Sir Creek, Harami Nala area. Amit Shah laid the foundation stone for the Mooring Place, where Border Security Force ships and boats can be parked at Harami Nala.
- He also launched various projects in Kutch, Gujarat through video. Union Home Secretary, Director General of Border Security Force and many others participated in this program. He also visited Harami Nala and reviewed the security situation there. He interacted with Border Security Force personnel there.
- Union Home Minister and Co-operative Minister Mr. Amit Shah today laid foundation stone of National Security Force (NSG) Regional Center and various development projects of Gujarat Government in Gandhinagar.
- Earlier, in the tree planting movement organized in 450 societies, Amit Shah participated. He laid the foundation stone of Mansa-Palwa 4 lane to be constructed at a cost of Rs.40 crore, inaugurated the Mansa Registrar's office constructed at a cost of Rs.2 crore and visited the pond under construction at Chandrasar village of Mansa.
- Under Modi's "En Maan En Desam" campaign, he also unveiled a plaque to honor the heroes who laid down their lives for the motherland. The event was attended by NSG Director General MA Ganapathy and others.
