The Prime Minister inaugurated the Akila Bharatiya Siksha Samag at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi
- Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi inaugurated today. It is taking place on the 3rd anniversary of National Education Policy 2020. He also released the first tranche of funds under the Prime Minister's SRI scheme.
- Rs.630 crore was given as first installment to 6207 schools. He also published education and skills curriculum books translated into 12 Indian languages. The Prime Minister also visited the exhibition displayed on the occasion.
- ISRO's PSLV C56 rocket was successfully launched from the launch pad at Sriharikota on July 30 at 6:30 am.
- The rocket carried Singapore's DS-SAR earth observation satellite. Apart from this, 7 more satellites were also launched by rocket. It is reported that the rocket will be placed in an equatorial orbit at an altitude of 535 km above the earth.
- Bisu World University Games are being held in Chengdu, China. In this case, Ilavenil Walarivan won the women's 10m air rifle category by scoring 252.5 points. With this, he bagged the gold medal.
- Similarly, in the women's team category, the team consisting of Manu Bagher, Yashwini Deswal and Abhindya Patil won the gold medal in the 10m air pistol category. In the same category, the Chinese team won the silver and the Iranian team won the bronze.
