Southern Railway has launched a special magazine for passengers

  • E-Toll Ads Media and Earth & Air in partnership with Southern Railway have launched the first ever magazine "Your Platform" for trains on September 30, 2022. It is a magazine for lifestyle and fashion. 
  • This is an attempt to create an opportunity for travelers who read regular magazines to read something new while travelling. Henceforth travelers can read unique things. This magazine will be available from October 1, 2022 (tomorrow) on the following trains.
  • It is a monthly smart magazine. The magazine will bridge the gap between print and digital magazines. Each page will have a QR code. It can also be scanned and read digitally. There will be articles related to Southern Railway. This magazine will help all passengers and digital readers understand the legacy of Southern Railway.

Repo rate hiked by 0.5 percent

  • Tamil Nadu's Parvin Chitravel won gold in the men's triple jump with a new record of 16.68m. The previous record was held by Ranjith Maheshwari who cleared a distance of 16.66 meters in 2015 in Thiruvananthapuram.

  • Taiwan's Pegatron has invested Rs.1,100 crore. Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said while inaugurating the Pegatron factory that he is very happy to know that more and more women have been given job opportunities through this.

Hurricane Ian devastates Florida
