குறிக்கோள்

• இத்திட்டத்தின் நோக்கம், மெட்ரிகுலேஷன் அல்லது பிந்தைய இரண்டாம் கட்டத்தில் படிக்கும் ஓபிசி மாணவர்களுக்கு அவர்களின் கல்வியை முடிக்க அவர்களுக்கு நிதி உதவி வழங்குவதாகும்.

வாய்ப்பு

• இந்த உதவித்தொகைகள் இந்தியாவில் உள்ள படிப்புகளுக்கு மட்டுமே கிடைக்கும், மேலும் விண்ணப்பதாரர் உண்மையில் சேர்ந்துள்ள, அதாவது நிரந்தரமாக குடியேறிய மாநில/யூனியன் பிரதேச அரசாங்கத்தால் வழங்கப்படும்.

தகுதிக்கான நிபந்தனைகள்

• மத்திய அரசு/மாநில அரசு/UT நிர்வாகத்தால் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டபடி, ஓபிசியைச் சேர்ந்த இந்திய குடிமக்களுக்கு உதவித்தொகை திறக்கப்படும்.
• பின்வரும் விதிவிலக்குகளுடன் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட நிறுவனங்களில் பின்பற்றப்படும் அனைத்து அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட பிந்தைய மெட்ரிகுலேஷன் அல்லது பிந்தைய இரண்டாம் நிலை படிப்புகளின் படிப்புக்காக இந்த உதவித்தொகை வழங்கப்படும்:
• விண்ணப்பதாரர் உண்மையில் சேர்ந்துள்ள மாநிலம்/யூனியன் பிரதேசம் தொடர்பாக குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட OBC களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள், அதாவது நிரந்தரமாக குடியேறியவர்கள் மற்றும் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட பல்கலைக்கழகம் அல்லது இடைநிலைக் கல்வி வாரியத்தின் மெட்ரிகுலேஷன் அல்லது மேல்நிலை அல்லது உயர்நிலைத் தேர்வில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றவர்கள் மட்டுமே. தகுதியுடையது.

உதவித்தொகை தொகை

ENGLISH

Objective

• The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the OBC students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education.

Scope

• These scholarships shall be available for studies in India only and will be awarded by the Government of State/Union Territory to which the applicant actually belongs, i.e. permanently settled.

Conditions of Eligibility

• The scholarships will be open to Indian nationals belonging to OBCs, as notified by the Central Govt./State Govt./ UT Admn.;
• These scholarships will be given for the study of all recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary courses pursued in recognized institutions with the following exceptions:
• Only those candidates who belong to OBCs so specified in relation to the State/UT to which the applicant actually belongs, i.e. permanently settled and who have passed the Matriculation or Higher secondary or any higher examination of a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education will be eligible.

Scholarship amount

• The rates under different Post-Matric Courses ranges between Rs. 750 per month and Rs. 260 per month for hostellers. For the day scholars the range is Rs. 350 to Rs. 160. Scholarship also include study tour charges @ Rs. 900 per annum (subject to actual expenditure), Thesis typing and printing charges @ Rs. 1000 (maximum) and Reader charges for blind students in the range between Rs. 90 p.m. to Rs. 175 p.m.
