Award in the name of Karunanidhi for the film achiever - Government order to set up a selection committee
- An order has been issued to award the 'Artist Artist Award' in the name of Karunanidhi to the best lifetime achiever in the Tamil film industry. The award will be presented annually from June 3.
- A selection committee comprising film director SP Muthuraman, chairman Nasser and director Karu Palaniappan has been constituted to select the awardees.
- Chief Minister Stalin will present an award of Rs 10 lakh and a memento to the nominee on Karunanidhi's birthday on June 3.
