Vedant, son of actor Madhavan wins gold medal at Danish Open swimming competition
- The Danish Open Swimming Championships are being held in Copenhagen, Denmark. In the men's 800 meters, Vedant of India won the gold medal in 8: 17.28 seconds.
- This is the 2nd medal won by actor Madhavan's son Vedant. Vedant won the silver medal in the 1500m freestyle last Saturday. Vedant won a bronze medal at the Latvia Open last year and four silver and three bronze medals at the Junior National Swimming Championships the same year.
