World economic growth slows to 2.8% this year due to Ukraine war - World Trade Organization

  • The World Trade Organization predicts that global economic growth will slow to 2.8 percent this year due to the war in Ukraine.
  • Prior to the war in Ukraine, global economic growth was projected at 4.1% this year. The World Trade Organization has downgraded the global economic growth rate to 1.3% after the war.
