Jagadesh Kumar appointed UGC Chairman
- Professor TP Singh, who was the chairman of the University Grants Commission, also known as UGC, retired last month. M. Jagadesh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, has been appointed as the Chairman of the UGC, which has been vacant since December 7.
