Rs 7,482 crore IMF funding for Pakistan
- Our neighbor Pakistan is in deep economic crisis. To help with this, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has decided to lend Rs 44,000 crore. These funds are provided in installments. In this context, the IMF has released Rs 7,482 crore for the sixth installment.
- On September 13, the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly passed a bill seeking an exemption for Tamil Nadu from the NEET test. Sent to the Governor of Tamil Nadu for Presidential approval.
- In this context, Governor RN Ravi has referred the bill seeking exemption to Tamil Nadu from the NEET examination to the Speaker for reconsideration.
- Navaneetha Gopala Krishnan Temple is an ancient temple located in the village of McClure in the Lower Pennathur Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. Madanmohan from the same village, S. Balamurugan, Palanisamy, Madanmohan, Sudhakar and Dhar from the Thiruvannamalai District Historical Research Center found a sculpture, inscription and Sambuvarayar chronology in memory of the elephant at the Navaneetha Gopala Krishnan Temple in Magalur near Lower Pennathur.
- The elephant sculpture in the McClure Temple is 4 feet high and 2 feet wide with a semi-circle at the top and a length at the bottom. In the circle at the top is engraved the figure of an elephant with its trunk folded. The upper bouts featured two cutaways, for easier access to the higher frets.
- Under the elephant in the stone, the name of the elephant is written in a separate line as 'Neelakandarayan'. Below this are four lines with a total of five lines of letters engraved on them.
- The memorial stone for the elephants is named after the Buddha Bhuvana Divakaran. It dates back to the 10th century.
- The image of an elephant is engraved on it and it is specially written as Neelakandarayan. In such a setting, an elephant in Thirunavur is already engraved with the image of a Buddha and under it is engraved the Kalinara in the Pallava Granth script.
- An inscription with a Sanskrit slogan has been found in a similar setting in Coimbatore. Archaeologist Rajagopal said that these are monuments taken for elephants and degree elephants.
