'Presidential Flag' Honors for 'Killers' Indian Navy Division

  • During the Indo-Pakistani war in 1971, warships, known as the 'Killer's Squadron', equipped with their own Indian Navy missiles, attacked the port of Karachi.
  • Pac., Naval warships were wrecked and sunk in the port area. The troops are involved in various military operations, including 'Operation Vijay, Operation Parakramam'. Fifty years after the Indo - Pakistani war, the Killers' Squadron is being honored with the President's flag.
P.V. Sindhu wins silver at BWF World Tour Finals
  • The grand BWF World Tour Finals were held in Bali, Indonesia. The competition was held with world class leaders. Sindh advanced to the semi-finals after winning the first two rounds.

ABEDA organizes Agricultural Export Conference on Utilization of Agricultural and Food Product Export Resources in Eastern Uttar Pradesh
  • ABEDA had organized an Agricultural Export Conference to promote exports of agricultural and food products from eastern Uttar Pradesh known as Purvanchal.
  • More than 700 farmers and exporters attended the conference, which was attended by Ms Anupriya Patel, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry.
The Navy's 'Chandayak' survey vessel sank in the Hooghly River
  • The Ministry of Defense and Garden Reach Ship Builders & Engineers (GRSE) in Kolkata signed an agreement in 2018 worth Rs 2,435 crore to build four of the largest survey vessels for Indian naval use. The first ship was built at the GRSE shipyard in Kolkata.
  • The ship was unloaded today for the first time in the waters of the Hooghly River. The event was attended by Defense Minister Mr Ajay Bhatt.
The Squadron is presented with the 22nd Killer Republican Presidential Quality Award
  • President Ram Nath Govind presents the President's Quality Award at a colorful parade on the 8th of this month at the 22nd Missile Boat Squadron, also known as the Killer Squadron. To mark this special occasion, the Post Office issues a special envelope and special postage stamp.
Indo-Maldives 11th Military Joint Exercise on 'Equine Training'
  • The 11th edition of the Indo-Maldives Military Joint Exercise 'X Equator Training' will take place on the island of Kathu in the Maldives from December 06 to 19, 2021.
  • The exercise will enhance coordination and mobility between the Armed Forces of the two countries based on their understanding of transnational terrorism on land, sea, counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency operations and sharing of best military practices and experiences.
  • Along with rigorous training, the joint military exercise will also feature cultural and sporting events to enhance defense cooperation and bilateral relations. This joint exercise will lead to further strengthening of India's relationship with the Maldives.
