NCC launches ‘Victory Chain of Freedom’ and ‘Great Association of Cultures’ to honor those who died heroically in the 1971 war
- The National Student Corps (NCC) is hosting the ‘Success Chain of Independence’ and the ‘Great Association of Cultures’ as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, India's 75th Independence Festival.
- The ‘Victory Chain of Freedom’ is being held from November 28 to December 10, 2021. Of these, those who died heroically in the 1971 war will be honored at 75 locations across the country.
- The ‘Great Association of Cultures’ is a special national coordination camp to be held in Delhi. Different people from all over the country will participate in it and exchange their cultural elements.
- At its closing ceremony, the national anthem will be sung in 22 languages and special dances will be performed in different states. The purpose of this mega event is to honor the families of those who died heroically in the 1971 war and to show it to all the people of the country.
Khadar Village Industries Board launches REHAB project in Assam to prevent human-elephant conflict using small bees
- Following the success of RE-HAB (Reducing Elephant-Human Attacks using Bees), an innovative project to prevent elephant-human conflict using small-scale bees, in Karnataka, the Khadar Village Industries Commission is currently implementing the project in Assam as well.
- Mr. Vinay Kumar Saxena, Chairman, Kadar Village Industries Board, launched the project on Friday in Mornoi village in Kolpara district of Assam, which has been badly affected by the elephant-human conflict. The project is being implemented with the help of the local forest department.
Modi launches Rs 18,000 crore development projects in Uttarakhand
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated various completed development projects in Uttarakhand. He also laid the foundation stone for 11 projects, including the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor.
- In particular, the economic corridor between Delhi and Dehradun has been laid. If the Rs 8,300 crore route is operational, travel time between Dehradun and Delhi will be reduced from 6 pm to about 3 hours.
- The route will connect Haridwar, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Yamunanagar, Baghpat, Meerut and Paravud with 7 major destinations. Along this route, Asia's largest forest high bridge (12 km) and 340 m long tunnel will be constructed without affecting wildlife movement.
- Prime Minister Modi also laid the foundation stone for the Dehradun-Panda Sahib (Himachal Pradesh) road project. Its project value is Rs 1,700 crore.
Central approval to manufacture modern AK-203 rifles in UP
- The Central Government has approved the production of state-of-the-art AK-203 rifles at a state-of-the-art gun factory in Korwa, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. It has been decided to manufacture 5 lakh more efficient guns here.

American Award for Mathematical Genius of Indian Descent

Assam State Awards 2021
- Businessman Ratan Tata and Olympic medalist Lovlina Borgohan have also been nominated for the award, which is given in recognition of outstanding contribution to the community.
- Ratan Tata will be awarded Rs 5 lakh with the Assam Pipe Award and Lovlina will be awarded Rs 4 lakh with the Assam Celeb Award.
