India completely whitewashed the T20 series

  • India won the toss and elected to bat first. India scored 184 for 7 in 20 overs. New Zealand lost all their wickets in 17.2 overs and scored only 111 runs for the loss of 73 runs. India whitewashed the series 3-0 with a hat-trick victory.
Home-made Visakhapatnam warship enlisted with sophisticated equipment
  • The Federal Department of Defense is implementing a program to build 4 state-of-the-art warships under the name 15B. Accordingly, the first sophisticated warship, INS Visakhapatnam, was built and completed at the Mumbai shipyard. Thereafter, various phase tests were successfully conducted and completed.
  • The 7,400 tonne locally made Visakhapatnam warship was subsequently incorporated into the Navy. The ceremony was held in Mumbai. The warship was commissioned by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
  • The INS Visakhapatnam warship, which is currently in the Navy, is equipped with a wide range of missiles, submarine destroyer rockets, radars and sophisticated communications equipment, all that is needed during a war situation.
  • Also, supersonic sensors are available. The warship has various special features such as sophisticated guns and electronic warfare equipment.
Sukant wins gold in Para Badminton
  • The Para Badminton International was held in Kampala, Uganda. In the men's SL4 finals of the series, world number five Sukant Kadam of India played against compatriot Nilesh Balu. Sukant won the gold medal 21-16, 17-21, 21-10.
  • India's Pramod Bhagat, who won a gold medal at the Tokyo Paralympics in the SL3 Division Finals, will face his compatriot Manoj Sarkar. Pramod lost 19-21, 16-21 to win the silver medal.

  • In the SL3, SU5 mixed doubles, India's Pramod Bhagat and Balak Joshi lost 19-21, 16-21 to another Indian pair of Ruthik Raghupathi and Manashi Krishandra Joshi in the final. India won a total of 47 medals in the series, including 16 gold, 14 silver and 17 bronze.
Army approves handover of power to Sudanese Prime Minister
  • In Sudan, there have been intense protests across the country since the military overthrew the government of Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok and seized power. An agreement was reached between the two sides at the end of those talks. Under the agreement, the military agreed to return power to Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdo.
  • The army also agreed to release all political leaders and officials arrested after the coup. The UN was involved in the signing of the agreement. The organization and the United States played a key role. 
  • After taking office again, Hamdok will head an independent cabinet. The military has set up a new Sovereign Council to tighten its grip on power.
The 6th edition of the Indo-French joint military exercise "X Shakti 2021" is taking place in France
  • The sixth edition of the Indo-French joint military exercise "X Shakti 2021" was launched on 15 November 2021 at the Military School in France. Three officers, three junior officers and 37 players from the Indian side participated.
  • The training so far has focused on collaborative planning, mutual understanding of activities and identification of integration features required for joint action in the counter-terrorism environment under the United Nations Charter.
  • Indian team visits Masarguis War Cemetery in Marseille, where 1,002 Indian soldiers were cremated during World War I. The Indian and French teams jointly paid tribute to the martyred soldiers.
Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the Centers for Nanotechnology and Indian Intellectual Organization at IIT Guwahati
  • The Union Minister for Education, Skills Development and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, who visited IIT Guwahati today, inaugurated the Center for Advanced Technology in Nanotechnology (CNT), Indian Institute of Intelligence (CIKS) and two hostels.
  • He also published a book on the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020. Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj and Member of Parliament Mrs. Rani Ojha were also present.
