Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the renovated war memorial in Ladakh
- On November 18, 1962, a major war broke out against China in the Resang La area of eastern Ladakh. The battle took place at an altitude of 18,000 feet and was fought bravely by the Kumaon Brigade led by Major Shaitan Singh of the Indian Army.
- They inflicted heavy losses on the Chinese army and won. Shaitan Singh was martyred with gunshot wounds all over his body. After his death, he was awarded the country's highest Param Veer Chakra award.
- On the eve of the 59th anniversary of the Battle of Resang La, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the renovated war memorial there.
- The Small Business Development Bank of India (CDP) has entered into an agreement with Google to implement a Rs 110 crore ($ 15 million) loan scheme for MSMEs. Under the agreement, Sidpi plans to provide low interest loans ranging from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 1 crore to MSMEs with annual sales of up to Rs 5 crore.
- The main purpose of the agreement is to provide interest-free loans to women entrepreneurs' companies, the report said.

- On November 18, 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first global innovation summit in the field of medicine through video conferencing. The two-day summit will feature 12 sessions and more than 40 national and international speakers discussing a variety of topics. Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Dr. Manzuk Mandavia also attended the summit.
