110 crore loan to MSMEs in association with Google: Small Business Development Bank Scheme

• The Small Business Development Bank of India (CDP) has entered into an agreement with Google to implement a Rs 110 crore ($ 15 million) loan scheme for MSMEs. Under the agreement, Sidpi plans to provide low interest loans ranging from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 1 crore to MSMEs with annual sales of up to Rs 5 crore.
• The main purpose of the agreement is to provide interest-free loans to women entrepreneurs' companies, the report said.
