Prime Minister Modi announces withdrawal of 3 agricultural laws
- On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanthi, Prime Minister Modi addressed the people of the country on various issues. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that he has decided to withdraw the 3 controversial agricultural laws brought by the then central government.
- A committee will be set up to encourage the agriculture sector through various new initiatives. The group will include farmers, scientists and experts.
- On behalf of the Central Institute of Classical Tamil Studies, an archeological documentary titled 'Adichanallur Thamiraparani Civilization' has been published on the company's website. The first excavation in the country took place at Adichanallur in the Duathukudi district.
- The two-hour documentary, in two parts, was published on the website of the Central Institute of Classical Tamil Studies. The documentary is directed by RR Srinivasan.
- Importantly the "Save the Life-Help" program has been introduced. Through this special scheme, the government will fully accept the first 48 hours of emergency life-saving treatment for persons involved in road accidents.
- 50 crore has been allocated for the first phase of this exclusive project. Those who do not have the Chief Minister's Medicare card, those from another state and another country can benefit from this scheme. Soon this scheme is to be integrated with the Chief Minister’s insurance scheme.
- The National Security Dedication Festival is being held in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh from November 17 to 19 as part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of independent India. As part of the ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated various initiatives for the defense sector. He also dedicated various projects to the country.
- At the Jhansi terminal of the Uttar Pradesh Defense Industry Route, Rs. The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for a Rs 400 crore project. A factory will be set up to manufacture the propulsion systems needed for missiles that can strike military vehicles. The project is being implemented by Bharat Dynamics Limited.
- The Prime Minister started the Alumni NCC Students Association. The association was started with the aim of creating a formal website (platform) to help former NCC students reconnect with the NCC. The Prime Minister, a former NCC student, registered himself as the first member of the association.
- Prime Minister Modi also launched the National Incentive Training Program for NCC students. This national program is initiated with the objective of improving the incentive training facilities required for all 3 divisions of the NCC.
- These include setting up sniper rifles for the NCC, microlight flying equipment for the air force and boat towers for the Navy. Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated the electronic halls that operate on the basis of the enhanced reality world at the National War Memorial.
- He formally handed over to the Army Commanders locally designed and manufactured ammunition to give prominence to the Autonomous India program in the defense sector. The Prime Minister handed over the Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) designed and manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to the Commander-in-Chief. Similarly, he handed over the drones / UAVs designed and built by Indian start-ups to the Army Commander.
- Prime Minister Modi handed over to the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy a state-of-the-art electronic warfare kit for Navy ships designed and manufactured by Bharat Electronics Limited, TRDO.
