Saudi Arabia has provided Rs 31,500 crore in financial assistance to Pakistan

  • Corona proliferation has exacerbated the crisis. The heavy debt burden, on the one hand, and the economic downturn, on the other, have left Pakistan in a dilemma. The financial crisis has affected production at many factories in Pakistan and many have lost their jobs.
  • Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan attended the Middle East Green Initiative Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. There he met Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia, a Western Asian country, has pledged Rs 31,500 crore in financial assistance to Pakistan.
India successfully tests Agni-5 missile
  • India has successfully tested the Agni-5 intercontinental ballistic missile, also known as the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, in Odisha. The missile was tested on Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha. The missile went successfully and hit the target. The DRDO said it hit and destroyed the target precisely.

An allocation of Rs. 254 crore has been made by the Adithravidar Welfare Department for the basic facilities of the tribal people

  • Nalini, Head, Department of History, SRC College, and Akila, Assistant Professor, Department of History, Musiri Anna Government Arts College, inspected the Thiruvasi Matrurai Varatheeswarar Temple near Musiri, Trichy District.

Mr. Narayan Rane, Union Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises launched the National Awareness Program 'Sambav'
  • He launched the Sambav National Level Awareness Program 2021 in New Delhi, organized by the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. The project will be a one-month effort to reach out to the people under the Ministry of Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises. Students from colleges / ITIs in all parts of the country will be encouraged to become entrepreneurs by the 130 field offices of the Ministry. College students will be informed through audio / light presentations about various projects implemented by the Ministry during the campaign.
  • Awareness programs will be conducted in more than 1,300 colleges across the country. About 1,50,000 students are expected to participate.
ADB & India has signed a $ 100 million loan for agribusiness development in Maharashtra
  • The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of India have signed a $ 100 million loan to boost agro-business network to increase agricultural income and reduce food losses in the state of Maharashtra.
  • Shri Rajat Kumar Misra, Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, signed the agreement for the Maharashtra Agri-Business Network (MAGNET) project on behalf of the Government of India.

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the 16th East Asia Summit via video link. The 16th East Asia Summit was hosted by Brunei EAS and ASEAN President. It was attended by leaders of ASEAN countries and other EAS participating countries including Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, Russia, USA and India. India is actively participating in EAS. This is the Prime Minister 's 7th East Asia Summit.

The Ministry of Education has announced a four-year integrated teacher education program
  • The Ministry of Education has announced a four-year integrated teacher education program covering the complete dual undergraduate courses of B.A.P.Ed, B.Sc.B.Ed and B.Com B.Ed. This is one of the key guidelines issued by the National Education Policy 2020 regarding teacher education.
  • According to the National Education Policy 2020, teacher activities will be available from 2030 only through the Integrated Teacher Education Program. It will initially be implemented in selected 50 multidisciplinary educational institutions across the country.
  • The program offers a bachelor's degree in history, mathematics, science, arts, economics or business. The syllabus has been designed by the National Teacher Education Committee under the Ministry of Education.
  • The Integrated Teacher Education Program will provide early childhood care and education, including basic numeracy and literacy, integrated education, and an understanding of India and its values, arts and cultures.
  • This completes the course in four years, leaving students with one year left over from the current 5-year plan. The four-year integrated teacher education program will begin in the 2022-23 academic year. The National General Entrance Examination will be conducted by the National Examination Agency and the admission will take place.
