- காலநிலை மாற்றம் என்பது முன்னெப்போதும் இல்லாத வகையில் நாளுக்கு நாள் தீவிரமடைந்து வருகிறது. மரபுசார் எரிபொருள் தேவையைக் குறைத்து காலநிலை மாற்றத்திற்கு எதிரான நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்கொள்ள உலக நாடுகள் முயன்று வருகின்றன.
- எனினும் புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிபொருள் தொழில்நுட்பத்திற்கு உலக நாடுகள் திரும்புவது ஒப்பீட்டளவில் மிகக்குறைவாகவே உள்ளது. இந்நிலையில் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை கிளாஸ்கோவில் காலநிலை மாற்றம் தொடர்பான உச்சி மாநாடு தொடங்க உள்ளது.
- ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் அவையின் சுற்றுச்சூழல் அமைப்பு வெளியிட்ட 'மாசுக்காற்று வெளியீட்டு இடைவெளி' குறித்த அறிக்கை உலக நாடுகளின் கண்துடைப்பு நாடகத்தை அம்பலமாக்கியுள்ளது.
- உலக நாடுகள் அனைத்தும் இதுவரை ஒப்புக்கொண்டுள்ள அளவுகளை கணக்கிட்டால் 2030-ல் வெறும் 7.5% அளவு மாசுக்காற்று மட்டுமே குறைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்.
- இதன்மூலம் புவியின் வெப்பநிலையில் 2.7 டிகிரி செல்சியஸ் அதிகமாகும். அதுவும் கூட அந்த வாக்குறுதிகளை உலக நாடுகள் உண்மையாக செயல்படுத்தினால் மட்டுமே சாத்தியமாகும் என்கிறது ஐநாவின் புதிய அறிக்கை.
- காலநிலை மாற்றத்தை கட்டுப்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்றால், உலக நாடுகளில் இதுவரை ஒப்புக்கொண்டுள்ள அளவைப் போன்று 7 மடங்கு அதிகமாக மாசுக்காற்றை குறைக்க ஒப்புக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். அதையும் கூட சொன்னவாறு செயல்படுத்த வேண்டும். ஆனால், இவையெல்லாம் நடக்கும் என்பதற்கான நம்பிக்கை ஒளி இன்னமும் தென்படவே இல்லை.
- அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து கடந்த 2016ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 2021ஆம் ஆண்டு வரையிலான காலகட்டத்தில் காலநிலை மாற்றத்திற்கு எதிரான புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி முதலீடுகள் குறித்த அறிக்கை வெளியாகியுள்ளது.
- இதில் அமெரிக்கா மற்றும் சீனா ஆகிய நாடுகள் முன்னணியில் உள்ளன. அமெரிக்கா 4800 கோடி அமெரிக்க டாலர்கள் முதலீட்டுடன் முதலிடத்திலும் அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து 1860 கோடி அமெரிக்க டாலர்கள் முதலீட்டுடன் இரண்டாவது இடத்திலும் உள்ளன.
- அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து ஸ்வீடன் 580 கோடி அமெரிக்க டாலர்கள் முதலீட்டுடன் மூன்றாவது இடத்திலும், பிரிட்டன் 430 கோடி முதலீட்டுடன் 4ஆவது இடத்திலும் உள்ளன. மாற்று எரிசக்தி உற்பத்தியை நோக்கி உலகம் நகர வேண்டிய கட்டாயத்தில் உள்ள நிலையில் இந்தப் பட்டியலில் இந்தியா 9ஆவது இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது.
- பிரான்ஸ், ஜெர்மனி, கனடா, நெதர்லாந்து, சிங்கப்பூர் நாடுகளுக்கு அடுத்தபடியாக 100 கோடி அமெரிக்க டாலர்கள் முதலீட்டுடன் இந்தியா 9ஆவது இடத்தில் உள்ளது.
