Chief Minister's Medal for Outstanding Public Service and Investigation 15 Police Officers

  • Each recipient of the awards will receive a gold medal weighing 8 grams and a cash prize of Rs 25,000.
The central government has provided Rs 14,745 crore to the state governments for the second phase of the Corona 3rd wave
  • The central government is implementing a Rs 23,123 crore special program to strengthen medical infrastructure across the country to cope with the 3rd wave of corona. The project is 60 per cent funded by the central government and 40 per cent by the state governments.
  • For the northeastern states, the central government provides 90 per cent and the state governments 10 per cent. The contribution of the Central Government is made to the States from time to time.
  • Accordingly, the first tranche of Rs 1,817 crore was disbursed to the states on behalf of the central government on the 22nd of last month. In the second phase, Rs 14,744.99 crore was given to the states on behalf of the central government.
  • The target is to complete the project by March 31 next year. Accordingly, 20,000 new emergency beds are to be set up in government hospitals across the country. Of this, 20 per cent will be allocated for children.
  • Work will also include setting up 1,050 warehouses to store oxygen, purchasing 8,800 new ambulances and increasing the number of medical personnel.
  • Medical infrastructure facilities parallel to the Medical College Hospital are to be established in 621 district hospitals and 933 public health centers across the country. Telemedicine facilities are to be set up in 733 districts. New laboratories will be set up in districts where there is no RTPCR laboratory.

Appointment of Additional Judges to the Kerala High Court
