Appointment of 2 female officers for the first time in the IDBP force
- India has 5 Central Police Forces namely CRPF, CISF, Indo-Tibetan Police Force, NSG, SSB. Of these, the recruitment of women in forces other than the Indo-Tibetan Police Force began a few years ago.
- Although women have been recruited into the Indo-Tibetan Police Force since 2016, they have not been recruited for combat missions. For the first time, two female officers, Prakriti and Diksha, have been appointed to the post of Assistant Commandant in the force.
- The Syed Talwar 2021 bilateral naval exercise between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was held in Abu Dhabi. The Indian Navy's INS Kochi warship and two integrated Sea King MK 42B helicopters participated in the exercise.
