RBI bans MasterCard from issuing new cards

  • The Reserve Bank has banned MasterCard from issuing new cards to customers. The ban will take effect on July 22, the RBI said. According to RBI regulations, servers that collect information on Indian customers' information must be located in India.
  • However, the Reserve Bank imposed the ban because MasterCard did not comply with the order. Meanwhile, RBI has said that there is no problem for existing customers using MasterCard.
Vikas engine test success
