Chief Minister Stalin inaugurated Tata's new plant in Ranipet with an investment of Rs. 9000 crores
- Tata Motors JLR company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for vehicle manufacturing in Tamil Nadu in March 2024. In September of the same year, the foundation stone for the manufacturing plant was laid by the Chief Minister at the SIPCOT Panapakkam Industrial Park in Ranipet district.
- Chief Minister M.K. Stalin today inaugurated the Jaguar Land Rover car manufacturing plant of the Tata company, which has been established with an investment of Rs. 9000 crore. This is a prime example of the swift action taken by the Tamil Nadu government in implementing these MoUs. The first vehicle from this plant, where world-renowned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) luxury vehicles will be manufactured, was unveiled today.

- Subsequently, a general election was held across the country yesterday (February 8). In this election, held for a total of 465 parliamentary constituencies, a majority of 233 seats was required to win.
- In this regard, the ruling party led by Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has won with a majority in the Japanese parliamentary elections. The ruling Liberal Democratic Party secured a clear majority by winning 316 seats. Following this, Sanae Takaichi has been elected as Japan's first female Prime Minister.
