December GST collection reaches ₹1.74 lakh crores
- In December, GST collection amounted to ₹1,74,550 crore. This is 6.1 percent higher than the ₹1.64 lakh crore collected in December of the previous year.
- GST revenue in December 2024 exceeded ₹1.64 lakh crore. This comes after a period of slower revenue growth following the reduction of GST rates on approximately 375 items since September 22.
