Ravinder wins gold at 2025 World Shooting Championships
- The ISSF World Shooting Championships are underway in Cairo, Egypt. In the men's 50m free pistol event, India's Ravinder Singh won the gold medal by scoring 569 points.
- The 29-year-old Ravinder Singh, who is serving as a Havildar in the Indian Army, won the silver medal along with Kamaljeet and Yogesh Kumar in the men's 50m free pistol team event by scoring 1,646 points.
- In the women's 10m air rifle event, India's Elavenil Valarivan won the bronze medal by finishing third with 232 points. South Korea's Hyojin won the gold medal with 255 points and China's Wang Zhifei won the silver medal with 254 points.
- In the team event, the Indian team comprising Elavenil Valarivan, Meghana Sajjanar and Shreya Agarwal won the bronze medal with 1893.3 points.
