- The place where we can still see the remains of a fort from the Sangam period in Tamil Nadu is Porpanaikottai in Pudukkottai district.
- The 4 coins found in the excavations conducted there in two phases by the Archaeological Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu reveal the importance of Porpanaikottai in terms of time and trade resources.
- The "Women's Employment Scheme" has been introduced under the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Under this scheme launched by Prime Minister Modi, 75 lakh women will be given Rs. 10,000 each.
- This amount can be used to start self-employment or for other livelihood needs. In addition, women interested in business will be provided with training, market guidance, and a subsidy of up to Rs. 2 lakh in the next phase.
