Semiconductor project worth Rs. 500 crore - Tamil Nadu government issues order
- It was announced in the Tamil Nadu government's budget statement that the semiconductor movement will be implemented at a cost of Rs. 500 crore. Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu government has issued an order allocating funds for this project.
- In it, Rs. 250 crore has been allocated for the semiconductor design development project and Rs. 75 crore for the semiconductor testing infrastructure development project.
- In addition, the government order has been issued to implement 05 types of projects, namely Rs. 50 crore for the semiconductor equipment approval project, Rs. 100 crore for the small-scale semiconductor chip project, and Rs. 25 crore for providing skill training to youth.
- Furthermore, it has been said that the companies selected for this semiconductor design project will be paid a salary for 05 years. It has been announced that a semiconductor manufacturing machinery industrial park will be set up in Palladam, Coimbatore on 100 acres each under the semiconductor equipment manufacturing project.
- The Left Front government led by Marxist Communist Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is in power in Kerala. Governor Arif Muhammad Khan had appointed Sisa Thomas as the vice-chancellor of the Kerala Digital Sciences University here and K. - It has also ordered to publish advertisements and receive applications within 4 weeks and complete the appointments within 3 months. Due to the intervention of the governors, universities in many states.
- Due to the continuing difficulty in appointing Vice Chancellors, the Supreme Court has issued a sweeping order to form a committee headed by retired Supreme Court judge Sudhanshu to prepare a list for selecting Vice Chancellors.
