நிசார் செயற்கைக்கோள் / NISAR SATELITE: நிசார் செயற்கைக்கோள் புவி கண்காணிப்புக்காக தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட அதிநவீன ரேடார் செயற்கைக்கோளாகும்.
இதன் எடை 2,392 கிலோ. ஆயுட்காலம் 3 முதல் 5 ஆண்டுகள். இந்த செயற்கைக்கோள் பூமியின் மாறிவரும் சூழல்கள் பற்றி விரிவான ஆய்வுகளை மேற்கொள்ளவுள்ளது.
இதன்மூலம் புவியின் சுற்றுச்சூழல் அமைப்புகள், பருவநிலை மாற்றங்கள், பேரிடா் மேலாண்மை உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு அம்சங்கள் குறித்த தகவல்களைப் பெற முடியும். அதாவது, பூமியின் மேற்பரப்பில் ஏற்படும் மிகச்சிறிய மாற்றங்களைக்கூட கண்டறிய முடியும்.
இந்தச் செயற்கைக்கோள் முழு பூமியையும் 12 நாள்களுக்கு ஒருமுறை சுற்றிவந்து துல்லியமான தரவுகள் மற்றும் உயர் தெளிவுத் திறன் கொண்ட படங்களை இரவு, பகல் என அனைத்து சீதோஷ்ண நிலைகளிலும் வழங்கும்.
இதற்காக ‘எல்’ பேண்ட், ‘எஸ்’ பேண்ட் ஆகிய சிந்தடிக் அப்ரேச்சா் ரேடாா் தொழில்நுட்பங்கள் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஒரே செயற்கைக்கோளில் 2 அலைவரிசைகள் கொண்ட கருவிகள் இடம்பெறுவது இதுவே முதல்முறை. நிசார் அனுப்பும் தகவல்களை உலகம் முழுவதும் உள்ள ஆராய்ச்சியாளா்களும் பெற முடியும்.

NISAR SATELITE: The Nisar satellite is a state-of-the-art radar satellite designed for Earth observation. It weighs 2,392 kg. It has a life span of 3 to 5 years. This satellite will conduct detailed studies on the changing environments of the Earth.
Through this, information can be obtained on various aspects of the Earth's ecosystems, climate change, disaster management, etc. That is, even the smallest changes in the Earth's surface can be detected.
This satellite will orbit the entire Earth once every 12 days and provide accurate data and high-resolution images in all weather conditions, day and night. Synthetic Aperture Radar technologies of 'L' band and 'S' band have been used for this.
This is the first time that instruments with 2 frequencies are included in a single satellite. The information sent by Nisar can also be received by researchers all over the world.
