Chief Minister M.K. Stalin laid the foundation stone of the Tamil Knowledge Campus in Taramani, Chennai
- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin today inaugurated the construction of the "Tamil Knowledge Campus" (Tamil Knowledge Campus), which will function as a cultural center for the Tamil people on behalf of the Roja Muthiah Research Library, in Taramani, Chennai, via video conferencing from the Secretariat.
- More than five lakh documents are being preserved in the Roja Muthiah Research Library, which has been operating since 1994. The library is also carrying out activities to reconstruct the history of Tamil culture in collaboration with various departments of the Tamil Nadu government.
- GST collection in the country in June 2025 increased by 6.2% to Rs. 1.84 lakh crore. Compared to June last year (Rs. 1.73 lakh crore), there has been a 6.2 percent increase in revenue.
- 'In June last year, Rs. 1.38 lakh crore was received from domestic transactions and Rs. 45,690 crore from imports. These are an increase of 4.6 percent and 11.4 percent respectively.
- Union GST is Rs. 34,558 crore, state GST is Rs. 43,268 crore, integrated GST is Rs. 93,280 crore, additional tax is Rs. 13,491 crore. The total amount refunded is Rs. 25,491 crore.
- Large states like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Rajasthan have registered an increase of 4 to 8 percent. At the same time, states like Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat have seen an increase of only 1 to 4 percent.
- Prime Minister Modi is on a tour of Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia. Prime Minister Modi visited Ghana in Africa. President Mahama, who arrived at the airport in Accra, welcomed and escorted Prime Minister Modi.
- Following this, Prime Minister Modi met with President Mahama of Ghana and held talks. The two leaders discussed ways to improve bilateral relations. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Ghana's national award 'Officer of the Order of the Star' for global leadership.
