Tamil Nadu Cabinet Reshuffle
- Senthil Balaji and Ponmudi have been released from the Tamil Nadu Cabinet. Senthil Balaji's Electricity Department has been given to Minister Sivashankar in addition.
- At the same time, Housing Minister Muthuswamy has been allocated the Liquor Excise Department in addition.
- Minister R S Rajakannappan has been informed that he will additionally look after the Forest Department, which was held by Ponmudi. Mano Thangaraj is also set to take charge as a minister.

- To enhance Digital India initiatives, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIEIT) signed MoUs with eight visionary institutions on 25th April 2025 at Electronics Niketan in New Delhi.
- The partnerships are designed to enhance education, skill development, research and innovation in the fields of electronics and information technology.
- The areas of collaboration include joint research projects, curriculum development, skill development, training, skill development programmes and support for emerging technologies and innovations.
