• 2021 - 2022ஆம் ஆண்டில் உயர்கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் மொத்த மாணவர் சேர்க்கை விகிதம் குறித்த நிதி ஆயோக் அறிக்கை / NITI AAYOG REPORT ON GROSS ENROLMENT RATE IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN 2021 - 2022: மாநில பல்கலைக் கழகங்கள் மற்றும் மாநில திறந்தநிலை பல்கலைக்கழகங்களின் உயர் கல்வி தரம் குறித்து நிதி ஆயோக் நடத்திய ஆய்வில் சத்தீஸ்கர், நாகாலந்து, ஜார்கண்ட், பீகார் ஆகிய மாநிலங்களில் உள்ள உயர் கல்வி நிலையங்கள் மிக மோசமான செயல்பாட்டை கொண்டிருப்பதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• 2011 - 2012 மற்றும் 2021 - 2022 கல்வி ஆண்டுகளுக்கு இடையே ஒப்பீடு செய்ததில், மாணவர் சேர்க்கை விகிதத்தில் கேரளா, இமாச்சல பிரதேசம், அருணாசல பிரதேசம் மாநிலங்களில் முன்னேற்றம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளதாக அறிக்கையில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• மேலும், இதே பிரிவில் சிக்கிம், ஆந்திர பிரதேசம், கர்நாடகா உள்ளிட்ட மாநிலங்கள் வளர்ச்சி அடைந்து வருவதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• 2021-22-ஆம் கல்வியாண்டில் உயர்கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் மொத்த மாணவர் சேர்க்கை விகிதத்தில் தமிழ்நாடு, இமாச்சல பிரதேசம், உத்தராகண்ட், கேரளா ஆகிய மாநிலங்கள் சாதனை படைத்ததாக நிதி ஆயோக் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது.
• அதேநேரம் மாணவர் - ஆசிரியர் விகிதாச்சார அடிப்படையில் தமிழ்நாடு, கோவா, கர்நாடகா, ஜார்கண்ட், பீகார் உள்ளிட்ட மாநிலங்கள் பின்தங்கி இருப்பதாக கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• NITI AAYOG REPORT ON GROSS ENROLMENT RATE IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN 2021 - 2022: A study conducted by NITI Aayog on the quality of higher education in state universities and state open universities has revealed that higher education institutions in the states of Chhattisgarh, Nagaland, Jharkhand and Bihar are performing the worst.
• The report said that when comparing the 2011-2012 and 2021-2022 academic years, there has been an improvement in the student enrollment rate in the states of Kerala, Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh.
• Further, it has been reported that states including Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka are growing in the same category. NITI Aayog has stated that the states of Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Kerala have achieved a record in terms of total student enrollment rate in higher education institutions in the academic year 2021-22.
• At the same time, it has been said that states including Tamil Nadu, Goa, Karnataka, Jharkhand and Bihar are lagging behind in terms of student-teacher ratio.
