76th Republic Day - Governor R.N. Ravi hoists the national flag
  • On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, Governor R.N. Ravi hoisted the national flag at the Chennai Beach Road. He showered flowers from a helicopter and paid tribute to the tricolor.

  • The parade featured BrahMos missile, Pinaka rocket, Akash air defence missile, Sanjay battlefield surveillance system, Pralay missile, T90 Bhishma tanks, Sarath troop carriers, Nag missiles, and Airavat attack vehicle. This is the first time that Pralay missile and Sanjay surveillance system are participating in the Republic Day parade.
