Air Adventure event organized by Air Force at Marina Beach
- On the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the Indian Air Force, an air adventure event is being held on behalf of the Air Force at Marina Beach in Chennai. 72 fighter planes, helicopters and jets have participated in this adventure. Stunt shows are being conducted in the air show to attract the audience.
- The Air Force teams participating in this air adventure event are named Chera, Chozha and Pandiya after the Moovendras. Similarly, fighter jets that engage in adventure are also named Storm, Sangam, Pallava, Cauvery, Kanchi, Nilgiri, Marina.
- DRDO has designed the 4th generation VSHORADS missile which can be hand-carried through three levels of short-range, aircraft, ship and land to attack and destroy the target. The missile was test-fired today at Pokhran in Rajasthan. Then the target was precisely destroyed and attacked.
