• 2024ம் ஆண்டிற்கான இயற்பியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு / NOBEL PRIZE IN PHYSICS 2024: மனித குலத்துக்குப் பயனளிக்கும் வகையில் இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், மருத்துவம், அமைதி, பொருளாதாரம் மற்றும் இலக்கியம் ஆகிய துறைகளில் சிறப்பாகச் செயலாற்றியவர்களுக்கு ஆண்டுதோறும் நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கி கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. 
• அந்த வகையில், நடப்பாண்டுக்கான இயற்பியலுக்கான பரிசு பேராசிரியர்கள் ஜான் ஜே.ஹாஃப் ஃபீல்டு மற்றும் ஜெஃப்ரி இ. ஹிண்டன் ஆகிய இருவருக்கும் அளிக்கப்பட உள்ளது. செயற்கை நரம்பியல் வலைப்பின்னல் மூலம் இயந்திரக் கற்றலைச் செயல்படுத்தும் கண்டுபிடிப்புக்காக இந்த நோபல் பரிசு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது. 
• ஜான் ஹாப்ஃபீல்ட் அமெரிக்காவில் உள்ள பிரின்ஸ்டன் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பேராசிரியராக பணியாற்றி வருகிறார். ஜெஃப்ரி ஹிண்டன் கனடாவில் உள்ள டொராண்டோ பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பேராசிரியராக உள்ளார்.
• வேதியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு புதன்கிழமையும்(அக்.9), இலக்கியத்துக்கானது வியாழக்கிழமையும் (அக்.10) அறிவிக்கப்பட உள்ளன. அமைதிக்கான நோபல் பரிசு வெள்ளிக்கிழமை (அக்.11), பொருளாதாரத்துக்கான நோபல் பரிசு அக்.14ம் தேதியும் அறிவிக்கப்பட உள்ளன. 
• ஆல்ஃப்ரெட் நோபலின் நினைவு நாளான டிசம்பர் 10-ம் தேதியன்று ஸ்டாக்ஹோமில் நடைபெறும் விழாவில் நோபல் விருதுகள் வழங்கப்படும்.

• NOBEL PRIZE IN PHYSICS 2024: The Nobel Prize is awarded annually to those who have made outstanding contributions to humanity in the fields of physics, chemistry, medicine, peace, economics and literature.
• In that regard, this year's physics prize goes to Professors John J. Hofffield and Jeffrey E. Hinton to be given to both. The Nobel Prize has been announced for the invention that enables machine learning through artificial neural networks.
• John Hopfield is a professor at Princeton University, USA. Geoffrey Hinton is a professor at the University of Toronto, Canada.
• The Nobel Prize for Chemistry will be announced on Wednesday (Oct 9) and for Literature on Thursday (Oct 10). The Nobel Peace Prize will be announced on Friday (October 11) and the Nobel Prize for Economics on October 14.
• The Nobel Prizes will be awarded at a ceremony in Stockholm on Alfred Nobel's memorial day, December 10.
