• முதலமைச்சர் நீர்நிலை பாதுகாவலர் விருது / CHIEF MINISTER WATERSHED CONSERVATOR AWARD: தமிழ்நாட்டில் நீர்நிலைகளைப் பராமரிப்பதில் சிறப்பாகச் செயல்பட்டு வரும், அரசு சாரா தொண்டு நிறுவனங்கள், தனி நபர்களுக்கு முதலமைச்சரின் நீர்நிலை பாதுகாவலர் விருது வழங்கப்படும்.
• ஒரு மாவட்டத்திற்கு ஒருவர் வீதம் 38 மாவட்டத்திற்கு 38 பேருக்கு வழங்க தமிழ்நாடு அரசு அரசாணை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
• விருது பெறுபவர்களுக்கு தலா ரூ.1 லட்சம் பரிசுத்தொகை என்ற அடிப்படையில் ரூ.42 லட்சம் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்துள்ளது. நீர்நிலைகளைப் பாதுகாக்கும் பணியில் செயல்படுபவர்களை அங்கீகரிக்கும் விதமாக முதலமைச்சரின் நீர்நிலை பாதுகாவலர் விருது வழங்கப்படும் எனத் தமிழ்நாடு சட்டப்பேரவையில் அறிவித்ததை அடுத்து, அதனை செயல்படுத்தும் விதமாக அரசாணை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
• 2023-2024 ஆம் ஆண்டில், சுற்றுச்சூழல் மற்றும் பருவநிலை மாற்றத்துக்கான அமைச்சர் அவர்கள், நீர்நிலைகளைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்காக முன்னுதாரணமாகச் செயல்பட்ட 100 அரசு சாரா நிறுவனங்கள்/தனிநபர்களுக்கு” முதலமைச்சரின் நீர்நிலைப் பாதுகாவலர் விருது” வழங்கப்படும் என்று அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
• தமிழ்நாடு காலநிலை மாற்றத் திட்ட நிதியைப் பயன்படுத்தி முதலமைச்சர் நீர்நிலைப் பாதுகாவலர் விருதைச் செயல்படுத்துவதற்கு அரசு நிர்வாக அனுமதி அளித்து, சுற்றுச்சூழல் மற்றும் பருவநிலை மாற்றத் துறை இயக்குநருக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டது. சுற்றுச்சூழல் மற்றும் காலநிலை மாற்றத் துறையின் இயக்குநர், பின்வரும் நிதித் தாக்கத்துடன் விரிவான முன்மொழிவை அனுப்பியுள்ளார்.
• மேலும் 10 லட்சம் நிதி தேவை என்பது விருது வழங்கும் விழா மற்றும் சான்றிதழ்களை வழங்குவதற்கு என்றும் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். மேற்குறிப்பிட்ட நிதியானது தமிழ்நாடு காலநிலை மாற்ற இயக்கத்திலிருந்து பெறப்படும்.
• அரசு, கவனமாக ஆய்வு செய்த பிறகு, சுற்றுச்சூழல் மற்றும் பருவநிலை மாற்றத் துறை இயக்குனரின் முன்மொழிவை ஏற்று, முதலமைச்சரின் நீர்நிலைப் பாதுகாவலர் விருதை ஒரு மாவட்டத்திற்கு ஒரு வெற்றியாளரைக் கொண்டு, குறைந்தபட்ச கட் ஆஃப் மதிப்பெண்ணைப் பெறுவதன் மூலம் செயல்படுத்த ஒப்புதல் அளித்தது.
• 2023-2024 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான 38 மாவட்டங்களுக்கான 38 எண்கள் ரூ. 38 லட்சம் + இதர செலவுகளுக்கு ரூ.4 லட்சம், தமிழ்நாடு மாசுக்கட்டுப்பாட்டு வாரிய நிதி மூலம் மொத்தம் ரூ.42 லட்சம் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்துள்ளது.

• CHIEF MINISTER WATERSHED CONSERVATOR AWARD: The Chief Minister's Water Conservation Award will be given to non-governmental charitable organizations and individuals who are doing good work in maintaining water bodies in Tamil Nadu.
• The Tamil Nadu government has issued an ordinance to provide 38 people per district at the rate of one person per district.
• Rs 42 lakh has been allotted to the awardees on the basis of Rs 1 lakh prize money each. After the announcement in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly that the Chief Minister's Water Protector Award will be given to those working to protect water bodies, an ordinance has been issued to implement it.
• For the year 2023-2024, the Minister for Environment and Climate Change has announced that 100 NGOs/individuals who have set an example for protecting water bodies will be awarded "Chief Minister's Water Protector Award".
• Directed to the Director of Environment and Climate Change Department for Government Executive Approval to implement the Chief Minister's Watershed Conservation Award using the Tamil Nadu Climate Change Program Fund. The Director of the Department of Environment and Climate Change has forwarded a detailed proposal with the following financial implications.
• Another 10 lakh funds are required for the award ceremony and presentation of certificates, they said. The above funds will be sourced from the Tamil Nadu Climate Change Initiative.
• The government, after careful consideration, accepted the proposal of the Director, Department of Environment and Climate Change and approved implementation of the Chief Minister's Watershed Conservator Award with one winner per district and securing the minimum cut off score.
• 38 numbers for 38 districts for 2023-2024 Rs. 38 lakhs + Rs.4 lakhs for miscellaneous expenses, Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board has allocated a total of Rs.42 lakhs through the fund.
