One country, one election approved by Union Cabinet
- The Union Cabinet has approved the report of the committee headed by former President Ram Nath Kovind on One Country, One Election.
- Elections are planned to be held in two phases simultaneously. Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be held in the first phase. Within 100 days of the first phase of elections, the second phase of local government elections will be held.
- The Union Cabinet meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi approved the development of the first segment of the Bharatiya Space Station to expand the scope of the Gaganyaan project.
- The Union Cabinet has approved demonstration and verification of various technologies to develop, build and operate the first module of the Bharatiya Space Station (PAS-1).
- This includes modifying the scope and funding of the Gaganyaan program to include new developments for the Bharatiya Space Station and launch missions and additional requirements to meet the ongoing Gaganyaan program.

- The Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi approved the mission named Chandrayaan-4 to develop technologies to return to Earth after a successful moon landing, collect lunar samples and analyze them on Earth.
- The Chandrayaan-4 spacecraft will land on the Moon and return to Earth safely. It is planned to be implemented by 2040.
- The central government has laid out a comprehensive vision for an Indian Space Station (Bharatiya Antariksh Station) by 2035 and an Indian Amritsar Space Program on the Moon by 2040.
