- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated Semicon India 2024 today at the India Expo Hall in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Modi visited the exhibition displayed at the event. The three-day conference, to be held from September 11 to 13, will showcase India's semiconductor strategy and policy to make India a global hub for semiconductors.
- The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India in collaboration with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Department of Science and Industrial Research, Department of Science and Technology have organized the second edition of the International Conference on Green Hydrogen from 11th to 13th September 2024 at Bharat Hall, New Delhi. .
- At the International Conference on Green Hydrogen, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi addressed today through video. The 3-day mega event will feature plenary sessions, expert panel discussions, technical consultations and an extensive exhibition, focusing on promoting a systematic approach towards establishing a green hydrogen ecosystem and achieving India's target of producing 5 MMT of green hydrogen by 2030.
- From field-based research interactions on hydrogen production, storage, distribution and downstream applications, the conference will also discuss green financing, human resource development and startup initiatives in this area. The three-day mega event will focus on technology, commerce and exhibition.
- An MoU was signed between the National Health Commission and IIT Kanpur in the presence of Union Health Secretary Mr. Apoorva Chandra.
- Under the MoU, various machine learning model pipelines, a federated learning platform, a quality assurance database, an open benchmarking platform for benchmarking and evaluation of artificial intelligence models and a consent management system for research under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Movement (ABDM) will be developed by IIT Kanpur.
- The platform, which will then be operated and managed by the National Health Commission, will unlock the enormous potential of artificial intelligence to improve health outcomes.
