Tamil Nadu achieved 2nd position in organ transplantation at the national level
  • Tamil Nadu has made a record by taking the 2nd position in the national level in organ transplantation. Tamil Nadu has set a national record by performing 595 organ transplants. 
  • A record 178 organs were successfully transplanted to those waiting for organs. Tamil Nadu has topped the list of states in India for the highest number of heart transplants
Nobel laureate Mohammed Younis appointed as the head of the interim government of Bangladesh
  • President Mohammad Sahabuddin approved the formation of an interim government in Bangladesh. Subsequently, a consultation meeting was held regarding the appointment of the head of the interim government.

Fiji's highest award for President Murmu
  • President Thirelapathi Murmu traveled to the island nation of Fiji on a two-day trip. He was awarded the 'Companion of the Art of Fiji' award in the country's capital Suva on Tuesday. It is the country's highest award. 
  • This award was presented to President Murm by Fijian President Katonivir. President Murmu said that this honor given to him is a reflection of the strong relationship between India and Fiji.
  • Following the Fiji trip, Murmu is going to visit 2 countries namely New Zealand and South East Asian country Timor-Leste. It is noteworthy that this is the first time that an Indian President has visited Fiji and Timor-Leste.
