The Prime Minister inaugurated the Rajasthan High Court Museum
- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the closing ceremony of Coral Jubilee celebrations of Rajasthan High Court today (25.08.2024) in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He also inaugurated the Rajasthan High Court Museum.
- Expressing his happiness to participate in the Coral Jubilee celebrations of the Rajasthan High Court, he said that the Rajasthan High Court is also completing 75 years at the time when the Constitution of India is completing 75 years.
- The Prime Minister said that this is an occasion to celebrate the dedication to justice and integrity of many great personalities.
- Governor of Rajasthan Mr. Haripav Bhagade, Chief Minister of Rajasthan Mr. Bhajanlal Sharma, Union Minister of State for Law and Justice (Personal Charge), Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal, Supreme Court Justice Mr. Sanjiv Khanna, Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court Mr. Manindra Mohan Srivastava and others participated in the event.
- In 2019, the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was revoked. After this, the state of Jammu and Kashmir was divided into two Union Territories of Ladakh and Jammu-Kashmir. As for Ladakh, there were two districts namely Leh and Kargil.
- Being a Union Territory, Ladakh is under the control of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. In this context, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that 5 new districts namely Sanskar, Dras, Sham, Nubra and Changthang have been created in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
