செர்ப் பவர் திட்டம் / SERB POWER SCHEME: இது இந்திய கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாடு (R&D) ஆய்வகங்களில் பல்வேறு அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப (S&T) திட்டங்களில் அறிவியல் மற்றும் பொறியியல் ஆராய்ச்சியில் பாலின வேறுபாட்டைத் தணிக்க பெண் விஞ்ஞானிகளுக்காக பிரத்யேகமாக வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட திட்டமாகும்.

SERB-POWER இன் நோக்கங்கள்
செர்ப் பவர் திட்டம் / SERB POWER SCHEME: SERB-POWER என்பது ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டுக்காக பெண் விஞ்ஞானிகளை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்காக இந்திய அரசாங்கத்தால் தொடங்கப்பட்ட திட்டமாகும். அதன் நோக்கங்கள்:

SERB-POWER இன் முக்கியத்துவம்
செர்ப் பவர் திட்டம் / SERB POWER SCHEME: SERB-POWER திட்டத்தின் பாலின சமநிலை மற்றும் பெண்களுக்கு ஆதரவான பணியிடத்தை உருவாக்கும் திறன் அதன் மிக முக்கியமான பங்களிப்புகளில் ஒன்றாக இருக்கும்.
இந்தத் திட்டம் பெண்களை ஆராய்ச்சித் திட்டங்கள் மற்றும் பிற ஆராய்ச்சி தொடர்பான நடவடிக்கைகளில் பங்கேற்க ஊக்குவிக்கும், இது இந்தியாவில் பெண் ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்களின் விகிதத்தை பெரிதும் அதிகரிக்கும்.
இது பெண் விஞ்ஞானிகளுக்கு தலைமைத்துவ திறன்களை வளர்க்கவும், முடிவுகளை எடுக்கும் குழுக்களுடன் ஒத்துழைக்கவும், முடிவெடுக்கும் பணிகளுக்கு அவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரம் அளிக்கவும் உதவும்.
50 மின் மானியங்கள் வரை இரண்டு வகைகளின் கீழ் நிதியுதவி
நிலை I: ஐஐடிகள், ஐஐஎஸ்இஆர்கள், ஐஐஎஸ்சி, என்ஐடிகள், மத்திய பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் மற்றும் மத்திய அரசு நிறுவனங்களின் தேசிய ஆய்வகங்களில் இருந்து விண்ணப்பிப்பவர்களுக்கு மூன்று ஆண்டுகளுக்கு 60 லட்சம் வரை.
நிலை II: மாநிலப் பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள்/கல்லூரிகள் மற்றும் தனியார் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் இருந்து விண்ணப்பிப்பவர்களுக்கு மூன்று ஆண்டுகளுக்கு 30 லட்சம் வரை.

SERB POWER SCHEME: It is a scheme designed exclusively for women scientists to mitigate gender disparity in science and engineering research in various science and technology (S&T) programmes in Indian academic institutions and research and development (R&D) laboratories.
It will serve as a benchmark of recognition in the national scenario and will empower women scientists and cultivate a women-friendly culture and ensure more women in leadership positions in decision-making bodies.
Objectives of SERB-POWER
SERB POWER SCHEME: SERB-POWER is a scheme launched by the Indian government to promote women scientists for research and development. Its objectives are:
To encourage and facilitate women researchers to take up R&D projects.
To create awareness about the role of women in science and technology.
To support the career advancement of women in science and technology.
To promote gender equality in science and technology.
Importance of SERB-POWER
SERB POWER SCHEME: The SERB-POWER program’s ability to create a workplace that is gender-balanced and supportive of women will be one of its most significant contributions.
The Scheme will encourage women to participate in research projects and other research-related activities, greatly increasing the proportion of women researchers in India.
It will also enable women scientists to develop leadership skills, collaborate with groups that make decisions, and empower them for decision-making tasks.
Funding under Two Categories for up to 50 Power Grants
Level I: Up to 60 lakhs for three years for applicants from IITs, IISERs, IISc, NITs, Central Universities, and National Labs of Central Government Institutions.
Level II: Up to 30 lakhs for three years for applicants from State Universities/Colleges and Private Academic Institutions.
Regulations
SERB POWER SCHEME: Grants will be regulated through terms of reference conforming to SERB-Core Research Grant (CRG) guidelines.
