Chief Minister M.K.Stalin launched the project Aruyir Anaivarum Uyir Kappom
- While the Tamilnadu branch of the Indian Medical Association has arranged to provide basic life-saving training to all, basic life-saving training is to be provided to all under the scheme Aruir – All Life Savers.
- Chief Minister M.K.Stalin launched the project Aruyir Anaivarum Uyir Kappom. Chief Minister M.K.Stalin issued the appointment orders to the tribal youth in the Chief Secretariat. Recruitment orders were issued to 146 tribal youth who completed skill development training and were selected for the job.
- In Vembakottai area of Virudhunagar district, the 3rd phase excavation work on the north bank of the deposit has been started since last 18th in order to know the Neolithic period of last 5 thousand years.

- The Food Safety and Quality Authority of India (FSSAI) has approved a scheme to display nutrition information on packaged food products in large letters on total sugar, salt and saturated fat.
- The decision to approve the amendment in the Food Safety and Standards Rules-2020 regarding nutrition information was taken in the 44th meeting of the Food Commission.
- The meeting was chaired by FSSAI President Mr. Apoorva Chandra. The amendment aims to empower consumers to better understand the nutritional value of the food they consume and make decisions accordingly.
- The draft notification for this amendment will now be placed in the public domain. Suggestions and objections on the same are welcome. Besides empowering consumers to make healthy choices, the amendment will contribute to fighting infectious diseases and improving public health and well-being.
