India's Total Exports in June 2024
- India's total (merchandising, services combined) exports in June 2024 are estimated to be USD 65.47 billion. This is an increase of 5.40 percent compared to June 2023. Total imports (trade, services combined) for June 2024 are estimated at USD 73.47 billion. This is an increase of 6.29 percent compared to June 2023.
- Exports of merchandise recorded 35.20 billion USD in June 2024. This is an increase of 2.55 percent compared to June 2023. Exports of non-petroleum, non-beads and non-jewellery products stood at USD 27.43 billion in June 2024.
- Exports of engineering goods stood at USD 9.39 billion in June 2024, up 10.27 percent over June 2023. Exports of electronic devices stood at USD 2.8 billion in June 2024. This is an increase of 16.91 percent compared to June 2023.
- Pharmaceuticals exports were USD 2.47 billion in June 2024, up 9.93 percent over June 2023. Coffee exports were USD 0.20 billion in June 2024, up 70.02 percent over June 2023. Exports of natural and synthetic chemical products stood at USD 2.29 billion in June 2024, an increase of 3.32 percent compared to June 2023.
- The annual inflation rate for June 2024 based on the Indian Total Price Index is 3.36% (provisional). Increase in prices of food items, crude petroleum, natural gas, mineral oils and other manufactured goods in June 2024 accounted for the positive rate of inflation.
- The Total Price Index for June 2024 was 0.39% as compared to May 2024 on a month-on-month basis.
- Final Index for April 2024 (Base Year: 2011-12=100): Final Total Price Index and 'All Commodity' Inflation Rate for April 2024 (Base Year: 2011-12=100) was 152.9% and 1.19% respectively.
