Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the new campus of Nalanda University- Prime Minister Modi today inaugurated the new campus of Nalanda University at Rajgir in the state of Bihar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today visited the ancient ruins of Bihar's Nalanda University.
- The original Nalanda University is considered one of the first residential universities in the world. The ruins of Nalanda were declared a UN World Heritage Site in 2016.
- In the last financial year 2023-24, India's seafood exports have reached an all-time high. India exported 17,81,602 metric tonnes of seafood worth Rs 60,523.89 crore ($7.38 billion) in FY 2023-24.
- Processed shrimp was the main export product. The US and China were the major importers of Indian seafood products. In FY 2023-24, exports grew by 2.67 per cent in volume terms.
- Exports of processed shrimp alone are worth Rs.40,013.54 crore. Processed fish ranks as the second largest seafood export item. Its exports were worth Rs.5,509.69 crore. In the previous financial year 2022-23, India exported a total of 17,35,286 MT of seafood.
